Planning Summer Tour - Shreveport/Bossier City

Hi guys,

I am planning to do a little... okay, maybe a LOT of touring this summer and was looking at Louisiana as a fun place to visit. I have been to NOLA previously and had a blast. Now I am thinking about including Shreveport and Bossier City to the tour.

Basically, what I am looking for is if these are good places to visit, if there is any interest from the wonderful men there in seeing me and what are good, safe places to stay in each location.

I love Louisiana. I am hoping to visit as many cities as possible and then come back through the state another time or two this summer. I should start moving west to east along the southern part of the state on the 13th or 14th. Lake Charles, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans. I have to hop up to Huntsville the weekend of the 22nd, but I plan to circle back through the top half of the state shortly after. Monroe and Shreveport. More concrete details, and info concerning my friend, to come.

In Shreveport stay away from Monkhouse Drive...the airport exit. Any casino, or hotel off Financial is ok. Tons of good restaurants, let me know what you like and I'll give you suggestions.
