No you didn't answer my question - you told a bold face lie that even you don't believe. There's no doubt in my mind you would report this type of bias and you are being deceitful in your response. It's easy for you to say what you would do until it happens to you - of course in your privilege life you probably have no idea what African Americans, gays, and Muslim deal with on a regular basis.

what do you mean,

who's losing rights so you can have rights?
you mean you want the right to have a quiet neigborhood and thus the dude with the X45000 sound system next door can't blare his tunes?
so he is losing his right to PAR-TAY so you can have your right to quiet?

Absolutely, it's his business and he can chose who he wants to take money from for performing his services or selling his wares. If enough people don't like his attitude he will go out of business if they do he will make money. People vote with their pocketbook way more often than they go to the polls. That's the way it should be.

Bottom line if you are open to the public you need to know that all walks of life are in the public - it's a different situation if it's a private bakery.
I do believe in personal freedom and I also believe that your Muslim owner has a right to serve who he wants based on deeply felt (which I may not agree with) religious beliefs. Even if he was the only baker in town for 50 miles then I would still tend to side with the business owner. Your so-called public bakery is someone's private property unless you believe as Warren and Obama do...(you didn't build that).

the bible speaks of the institution of marriage as being ordained by God
whether you believe its a fairy tale or not doesn't matter

the country was founded by people seeking religious freedom from persecution
by established churches in the kingdoms of Europe

that's why freedom of religion is enshrined in the constitution

the constitution protects freedom of religion, it doesn't protect racism

public accommodation and the first amendment needs to be balanced, that's all these laws attempt to do

there is no discrimination in the providing of goods and services to all americans in the normal sense, only balancing of the first amendment with the intolerance of the left

that's why the hobby lobby case was decided as it was...
The Hobby Lobby Case was decided based on a 1993 law. The Religious Freedom Act of 1993 passed both the House and the Senate with substantial democratic support and was signed into law by Bill Clinton. See how far tyrant the democratic party has gone in just 22 years.

Well go ahead and make up whatever you think I believe, then bash me over the head with it. You won't listen to reason, you just want to think you're better than the rest of us because you are tolerant, and want everyone to conform to your thinking so we will be as "tolerant" and "open minded" as you, even if the government has to enforce that tolerance.

You, my friend, are the problem.

The owner has that right. It's his business. The customer can say "Thank you, but I will find another bakery." How difficult is that? What is it with you wanting to force people to do things when there is a simple alternative? The Muslim baker will be happy because he's not forced to bake a cake that violates his conscience. The couple is happy because they can find a baker who will be happy to serve them. The new baker is happy because he earned some new customers. I don't see a problem here, except with WE's fascist, statist approach to the problem.

Whole thing is stupid, a bakery owner with anything on the ball would have told the customer they did not carry the design they wanted, but could buy it on their own and place it on the cake when it was delivered...

COG is a stand up libertarian, sticking to his principles......unlike some big name so-called libertarians......
Siding with the LGBT, supposed libertarian Penn Jillette told CNN that while he had sympathy for religious freedom, “These people are not being asked to engage in gay sex…They’re being asked to sell flowers and cake to people.

Self-declared libertarian Bill Maher of HBO took a similarly tyrannical position, tweeting, “Indiana doubling down on their antigay ‘religious freedom’ law, just like Jesus planned.

#1 - To pick either "side" on this topic is asinine!
#2 - "Both Sides" are fucked up!
#3 - "Sides" IS the problem!
#4 - Rationality, Tolerance, Open-Mindedness, Veracity, Integrity, Genuiness all cut right down the middle!!!

If the press and any other anal portion of society didn't have their heads squarely up their own asses... There wouldn't even be a discussion... normal business sense would prevail.
Shame, Shame, Shame...

#5 - Apply all above to Wash DC!

Bill Maher is not and has never been a libertarian. He is like alot of liberals who have run from the liberal label. The only difference is he decided to hide behind libertarianism rather than go with the meaningless progressive label.
