Personally, I have opened the door before to see a man that I would have sworn was gay had I met him under different circumstances. But he was at my door, and was quite clean, pleasant and even handsome, and everything went smoothly. I didn't mention my suspicion because I can't be sure, and if he's at my door clearly his current preference is not gay...but I was sure of using the appropriate precautions to remain healthy as I would with anyone else (because you never can be sure) I'm still alive to tell this story, AND disease free; I've been tested since.

I guess gay guys might stray too.

a) I knew there was a reason for guys to not get married!

b) something isn't sitting right with the above. not quite sure. part of it maybe is if most will never admit it or be open about it then how is it known a lot are?

thought I'd throw out an FYI being as I looked up the specific definition of bi-curious (wasn't sure that went with straight). wiki says yes, homosexuals can stray also.

My original thought toward johana's post was that the feminine romantic illusion wears away over time in a marriage.

These little things that remind us that a woman is a human being, made from flesh and bone with a digestive system, physical flaws, body odor if she does not shower, a sense of callousness toward being a sexual object day to day, un done hair, beat up face due to no make-up, farting, burping, nose digging, feet smelling, child chasing, sitting around the house in bummy clothing, baring witness to weight gain, etc..

I sometimes wonder if all of this can take a toll on a guys sexual beacon so much that he becomes desensitized to a woman's sexual element almost like the doctor, OBGYN, or plastic surgeon who can operate on a human body and not get a hard -on.

I didn't have a strong desire to have it done again. I don't run to a provider and ask for me to get it done.

As I mentioned in my first post, I have witnessed many of my gay best friend's adventures. He only likes "straight" married men, and he seems to have a magnet for them.

I think you're using the term "straight" loosely. if they do anything with your gay best friend to me they're not straight.
