Default CAN OUTCALL LEAD TO ARREST

Has anyone here ever been targeted or heard of being stung at an outcall to your own residence?

Of course it can. But it snot likely. Cops want to control the environment for their safety. hard to do with an out call

This topic has come up here many times before, including in this thread:

'Do undercover cops offer outcalls?'

I think the consensus of opinion is that female cops posing as hookers don't often do outcalls because of the danger stemming from not being able to control the environment like cops can when they book the room. A common m.o. for cops running a sting is for the girl to be near the bed and cops with guns drawn burst out of the bathroom. Obviously, you can't do that on an outcall. Also, if a UC did outcalls, there'd be no assurance the john's playpen would be located in the city where the UC works.

Greg Anthony was recently arrested on an outcall to his DC hotel room. Though, I have wondered if the officers knew it was him beforehand and that is why they chose to take the chance. I wonder if details will come out where he answered the ad, the "hooker" attempted to get him to come to her, but he let it be known he was a bigshot and insisted on an outcall to him.

I think the outcall sting discussion needs to be split into two variations:
Outcall to residence vs. outcall to hotel.

I agree with Jon on outcall to a residence due to control, etc. And this was the OP's original query.

However, could it be assumed that an outcall to a hotel, if the doughnut shop has a traveling team (and some do, as Muse presents), can be a controllable situation for the pastry boys? Especially if hotel management has previously asked for help/granted permission (as is stated in Muse's news-clipping, and assuming inside city limits). A hotel room is no more than a hotel room, and hotel locked doors are easily opened (fire rules). Thus, assuming a traveling team, is there any difference at a hotel between an incall or outcall sting?

I do invite folks to poke holes in this assumption, for clarity.

Does this mean outcalls to a residence is safer option?

It's simple. Of the two:
- incall is safer for the provider and more risky for the hobbyist.
- outcall is safer for the hobbyist and more risky for the provider.

Why? Because Leo always wants to control the situation, so they want you to come to them. Is it possible for the other way around? Of course, but it is less frequent in practice.

Further (as noted above by Shyster Jon), if Leo has to travel, they may find themselves out of their jurisdiction before they get to the final address, which is another reason why traveling is less desirable.
