The Attorney General told a House subcommittee they’re considering “gun-tracking bracelets” as a “common sense” way to reduce gun violence.

Eric Holder said the Obama Administration is looking at several technological innovations to reduce the number of stolen guns being used in crime.

“I think that one of the things that we learned when we were trying to get passed those common sense reforms last year, Vice President Biden and I had a meeting with a group of technology people and we talked about how guns can be made more safe,” he said.

Holder and Biden, now there's a think tank for you.

My family was exiled from Canada in 1755 to the swamps of southern Louisiana. We have fought, for this country, in the war of 1812, battle of New Orleans. Two family members are on the San Juacinto monument. My Grandfather was wounded in the trenches of WW1. My father in WWII. Two uncles in Korea and I spent three tours in Vietnam. A number of years ago the push was made for handguns that were equipped with finger print sensers so it could only be fired by the owner. I think it was Reagan or Bush 41. A lot of money was spent before it was decided the technology was not there yet.

What amazes me, is that they want to take rights away from law abiding citizens but people, that police suspect might actually be committing crimes, they eliminate stop and frisk.
