It's already explicitly in the guidelines...as DH has mentioned...it's outing...
The only way that protection goes away is if the member chooses to associate themselves with their old handle...
No manner of "analysis" from you is going to change the current interpretation and application of this particular guideline...the staff doesn't play when it comes to the nuclear rules...

Doove...not to speak for him, just to proffer a guess...may not be connecting the guesting to a security issue, for, as Rooster acknowledged at the current end of said sticky, too many folks have been guested without a proper security-related cause.

And for the members, it doesn't matter why they were guested, or if it was correct to guest or not...once it's guested, don't try and connect it to anyone...
P.S.-I just looked up flights, and was surprised it's only $350 round trip for me to come up to fuck SAB...i think I'll schedule a long weekend coming up soon...gotta get that done...

Question about outing old handles. If you go back to a thread where someone posted using their old handle, and someone quotes them, the quote reflects the old handle. So in a manner of speaking isn't the board software outing?

I was the old AC guys
trying in a way to stay out of it this time
worked on the most part
till I had to save the Krill I like most and ran out

Are you using Kayak? I see Flights, Hotels, and Cars, but I don't see how to include the escort with the flight.
