Default Tell me I'm not the only one

I don't know if it's a me thing, a guy thing, a person thing, or if I'm the only one.

I HATE making two trips. If I'm taking my dinner out to the living room to watch TV I'll carry the plate, a drink, napkin under my chin, balance my plate on a bowl and whatever else it takes to make a single trip. It literally takes 20 seconds to go from my living room to the kitchen and back again but I'll risk injury and a huge mess. So weird.

You don't even want to know about carrying in groceries from the car.

not me.. if it's reasonable to make a single trip, fine, but I don't sweat having to do two.. I've had enough stupid mishaps without encouraging them..

If that's not a proverb, it should be.

Here's the trip I hate: driving 45 minutes to be greeted with a NC/NS; getting a flat tire on the way home.

LA--

I am an ironwoman when it comes to grocery bags. I'd rather string both arms with about 20 bags than make two trips

I do it cafeteria-style and use a tray

I can put all of those things on a tray and make one trip.

That taint very good advice - the temperature goes up and down.

Unless you have a real trunk and a dark colored car. Your advice "taint" right.

If you are standing at the precipice of a providers pussy you should to make as many trips as you possibly can. I guess it is OK to just take one big load there, but i try to take as many trips as possible even if I get tired and take smaller loads with each successive trip.

I never watch TV during meals. I like to enjoy my meals, with table cloth, wine, etc. No matter how simple the food. I concentrate on the meal.

Grocery bags... Yup. One trip if possible, but most of the time is not possible
