Millionaire Elizabeth Warren says she represents the common people...
from her two million dollar house. Yes, Deb's favorite socialist is worth about 10 million dollars at last count. Her home alone is worth almost 2 million but she still cares about the common people (including her Native American brothers and sisters). This Okie has ridden the benefits gravy train to the top (almost all the way) with entitlements for sex, race (remember her assertions that she was Native American getting her preferencial treatment) and now that she is part of the 99%.

And of course you are equally outraged at moneybags such as Rush claiming to represent the common blue collar guy.
Face it, there are very few members of Congress, etc., on food stamps. Any idea Cheney's net worth? Or the total income of Teddy the "Common Man" teabagger?
You are more myopic in your old age. I used to enjoy reading some of your posts, but vomit like this OP doesn't even pretend to be rational or objective.

My god, you are such a hypocrite. You celebrate economic success for everyone except those who disagree with you.
Who the fuck cares if her home (in Boston, one of the priciest markets on the planet) is worth $2 Million? My brother had a house worth well over $1 Million in LA that was a tiny shithole and he had a huge mortgage on it as well. That means nothing shitforbrainsbarleycorn. On top of that Warren's great-great-great grandmother on her mother's side was Cherokee, making Warren—provided the genealogist didn't miss anything—1/32 Native American if her great-great-great grandmother was full-blooded (that's unclear). Warren has said that both of her mother's parents had American Indian blood, in which case the fraction would obviously be a little bit bigger. (It's plausible that some of Warren's relatives would have masked their Cherokee heritage, given the legally prescribed second-class citizenship bestowed upon American Indians for much of the 20th century.) If you use the "one drop of blood" standard that was used for African Americans by conservatives since before the inception of the Republic is used she is an Indian (but that isn't the standard that is used by the tribes - particularly the tribes that own casinos) and support the claim she made AFTER being hired by Harvard and that isn't a part of the tenure process.
Second of all Warren is barely in the 1% since she AND her husband earned under$1 Million as last reported in 2010-2011. She earned $350,000 from Harvard Law School and other income from books and consulting before she became a Senator. Now she is probably out of the1% unless book revenue or speakers fees take her up above around $350,000/yr. She is also worth (apparently with her husband) around $14.5 Million in total wealth which means she has invested the money she has made over a ~50 year career wisely and she has saved a lot (which means she has probably lived somewhat frugally as a university professor for most of her professional life).
OK, that stated out in front, she took a pay cut of considerable proportions to be a U.S. Senator down from the $350,000 she made at Harvard to $174,000 as a U.S. Senator. On top of that, now, as a Senator, she has to keep a residence in Washington (very pricey) as well as Boston which is also a VERY pricey market so her total salary and wealth go a lot less far than they would if she had stayed in OK.
That she is smart and accomplished, despite the fact that you disagree with a lot of what she thinks and says, is evident and in a meritocracy (rather than in the ideolograchy that you would seem to prefer where no one who disgrees with you makes anything above minimum wage - in fact, I suspect, you would eliminate the minimum wage so no one who disagrees with you could make ANY money at all and would starve and die) she obviously is paid well to the level of her intelligence and skills.
Do us all a favor and crawl back in the hole from which you have emerged occasionally to grace us with your wit (less) commentary and opinions.

How expected. Everyone named has not gone on record saying that they represent the 99% except Elizabeth Warren. There is nothing wrong with making money but people like Warren DO criticize people who have made money while at the same time pretending that they are not rich.
Your arguments are with Ms. Warren, I just pointed out her hypocrisy. Boy, you guys are pretty defensive about this woman.
And for the Beaver, do you want to say the same thing next year when they rank all the politicians and their salaries. I expect that she will go up in value more so than just from smart investing.

She does represent the 99% because she was elected (and funded) by the 99%. Just because she (and her husband) have been successful does not mean that she has forgotten or foresaken the 99%. Remember, the most villified member of the 1% was FDR who had never been a part of the 99% and was referred to as a "Traitor to his Class".

Not hardly. She does not pretend that she isn't secure ($14.5 million in net worth and $174,000/yr while maintaining residences in Boston and Washinton D.C. is only barely rich) and she mostly criticizes institutions that make money unethically and in a way that hurts society and middle-class people.

Cite some facts next time. Having a $2 Million house (and not evidence on debt or anything else) is no hypocrisy.

Again, if being smart, talented and lucky is hyprocrisy, then she is a hypocrite. Otherwise show some evidence other than the phantasms in your twisted mind.

Rush's whole shtick is that he is defending what's right for the poor and downtrodden working man against the elitists. He may not use the 1% and 99% terms but that is clearly the mantle he wears. They are all wolves in sheep's clothing. Which of them has ever campaigned as the voucher of the 1%?

I knew Rush when he was in the KC Royals front office doing press releases and PR making $12K a year. Now he is someone worth .5 billion. Other than being loaded he is not a bad guy if you talk cars or baseball.
Agree with his politics? NO

Smart and accomplished? No fucking way! How many books has she written without a co-author or ghost writer? Are you referring to that bankruptcy study where she fudged the data to fit the conclusion she was looking for? Was that a smart thing to do? Lying about her supposed Native American genealogy? Was that a smart thing to do? That this woman is "smart and accomplished" is no where evident. She is a liar, a phony and a hypocrite of the highest order. She pretends to be a populist. The only thing she inspires people to do is envy the successful, milk the system, and become ever more dependent on the federal teet. She has been gaming the system all her life and now turns around and says it is "rigged" against people like her. She knows absolutely nothing about how wealth is created in the real world and has zero understanding of how a successful economy operates. Like that community organizer in the White House, she is a close-minded ideologue of the worst kind. The fact that she is seen as a potential Presidential candidate speaks volumes about the abject mediocrity of Democratic politics today. I hope she runs and gets her ass kicked all the way back to Oklahoma. Let her sell her $2 million home and go back and live with her "tribe" on the reservation where she can make up stories about her great-great-great grandmother's roots.

Lets do some resume comparison:
Hillary Clinton was born Hillary Rodham in the greater Chicago area.
Bill Clinton was born William J. Blythe in the Little Rock area. Both of these places were mob hangouts.
Elizabeth Warren was born Elizabeth Herring in OKC, OK.
Rush Limbaugh was born Rush Limbaugh in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Hillary Clinton went to a private school (Wellesley College) and then went to Yale Law School.
Bill Clinton went Georgetown University, Oxford (but dropped out), and Yale Law School after dodging the draft.
Elizabeht Warren went to George Washington University, the University of Houston, and Rutgers.
Rush Limbaugh did not graduate from college.
Hillary Clinton became a partner in a Little Rock law firm because she was the first lady of Arkansas.
Bill Clinton become the Attorney General of Arkansas because he could not win an election to Congress (now here is a guy on the government teat), then he became the Governor, then lost, then won again before lying running for President.
Elizabeth Warren taught law at several schools before being tapped to appear in a few movies produced by radical socialists which got her enough recognition to be appointed to several liberal/socialist organizations.
Rush Limbaugh went to Sacramento, CA and created himself and the new talk radio format.
Hillary screwed up her healthcare task force so completely the the GOP took over Congress for the first time in 40 years. She stood by her philandering husband and extracted her pound of flesh by getting his support for a run on the Senate which she dumped after she screwed up her presidential campaign so badly that she was beat by an unknown from Chicago.
Bill diddled the help in the Oval Office, embarassed the United States, passed three significant pieces of legislation (all which have been undone by Obama) and likes to hang out with the Energizer when he is not flying to Epstein's private island for some underage sex. He and Hillary are worth over $100 million that they got from giving speeches to Arab shieks among others.
Elizabeth discovered that she was NOT a native American but discovered that it was possible for a democrat to get elected to office in Massachusetts (who knew?). She and her husband are worth close to $15 million but she has only been in government for a couple of years.
Rush went on to host a talk show on TV, write books, scare the bejesus out of liberal democrats and make (as someone said) half a billion dollars on his own talent.
Famous quotes:
Hillary: I'm not some little woman standing by her man (before she did exactly that).
Bill: I did not have sex with that woman... (when we all knew that he did)
Elizabeth: You didn't build that...
Rush: with half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair.
Will the real common person please step forward?
