When I was stationed at Ft Wainwright outside of Fairbanks, AK, I actually sewed the end of issue wools socks sliced open into the cup of briefs. I had frost bit the tip of my little head, even inside silk long johns and gortex running pants. Running at -35 sucks.

The last marriage I had (shudder) was in Minnesota in "96" and it was near 50 below zero. The church organ pipes were playing by themselves and almost no cars would start. I now of course believe in the almighty because he tried to warn me about her.

I've been in near 90 below wind chill but it doesn't compare to her black heart.
