Default Gifts to providers

I have helped providers in the past that are really trying to do better in life like go to college and get a education. I've bought them clothes, helped with there rent and have payed some of there tuition fees. But this is gonna be my biggest one yet. Question is do you think buying a 2015 Camaro for a provider is too much with a no sugar daddy/baby sugar relationship ?

At least she didn't ask for a Porsche.

Honestly, if she feels comfortable enough to ask you for such a large gift then I would keep the the car in YOUR name or a company that you own. You can gift her the deed once the payments, both yours and her "gratitude", are complete.

Don't threaten to take her car away everytime you have an argument either. Keeping it in your name is just to prevent her disappearing on you without you having any recourse.

Thanks for your sincere opinion. Well, she really didn't ask for one but i know she wants one. Main reason i wanna get it for her is cuss she visits her family every weekend, its like 300 miles away and she drives around in this old clunker. Ive already helped her with the transmission. So i'm thinking heck why not.

I think buying her a car is cool. How about a slightly used still newish car not a 2015 model. Sure she would be appreciative still.

Oh, I'm afraid it probably is. But not for the purposes of determining if the gift is appropriate...he's sending a message.

Sounds like you treat your friends well..... how about we go hang out at a SC for a weekend..... you can get the tab, right?

Seriously though, I wouldn't recommend it but if you are seriously considering this here is my two cents... You can get her a good reliable car for 5-6K and then offer her some kind of savings match, you will match whatever she saves over X months as well as let her use the other car you buy her as a trade in on what she really wants. That will limit your risk of being out of pocket and getting nothing for it and who knows maybe she will learn a thing or two about budgeting and managing money.

I sure as hell wouldn't keep the title in my name or a business name because if she gets stupid and seriously injures someone in a accident you can bet the house that some personal injury lawyer is gonna sue you and if you have the $$ to buy a hooker a 2015 Camero then you either have a lot of money or a incredible lack of common sense.

If you are REALLY trying to help, you would go for something that carries a more reasonable insurance price tag, better gas mileage (since she's doing all this driving), safer, more reliable, something with a longer warranty, more cargo/passenger space, and plain more realistic. Anyone who is driving a clunker, will be thankful for a vehicle that is actually functional.

Holy shit this is insane. Please don't do it OP. You're gonna regret this later when you could use an extra 10-20 grand for yourself.
