Old Sarge made a lot of sense all the time. He was unbiased and gave great instruction and insights into the rules. I've been on the board for less than a year. When I arrived I had no idea how to get any thing done or the importance of the rules. He was quick to point out my mistakes with kindness, and with suggestions on how to improve or fix it and rule guidelines... he's a lost treasure that is for sure. Let's all raise a shot of Tennessee Honey ( His Favorite Whiskey ) Here's to you Sarge!

From what I know, OldSarge has helped a lot of local providers AND hobbyists over the years.

I would expect a lot of ladies to speak out for OldSarge, because in this forum we feel safe to speak up, unlike other forum areas on the board.

Yes, OldSarge helped me. Yes, OldSarge has helped others. I know of lot of what the other ladies are saying is true and there is so much more that isn't being said.

Guys, if OldSarge helped you out in some way. feel free to speak up. say something, if nothing else to simply say "thanks". You don't have to say anything about board politics.

Thank you all lady's and gents alike for your posts on this Very Important thread to me. If it accomplishes nothing more than to show Old Large how much he was respected, valued, and appreciated by so many it is worth it. Also to let him know how very much he is missed on this Board. Please keep the posts coming. Ya'll are awesome as is Old Large!

Sarge you have no idea how deep your impact was on this boards members and providers. Thank you for being you.

Never met the Old Sarge but He always had very good information and to my eye, he was always unbias and spoke for the interest for everyone on this board. Hope the mods allow him back. He is definitely an asset to this community.

I've met the man in social settings and find him to be every bit as personable in person as he is intelligent as evidenced by his many posts in the past. I too would like to see him return to the board. To me the question arises, does he really want to return.

although I am from dallas, I had the pleasure of meeting old sarge at a (b-day) social. very cool guy, intelligent and wonderful helping personality. hope everybody gets things back in order.

and by the way...he is the one who introduced me to Randi...huba huba...

I agree, bring Old Sarge back. He was special to a lot of us and was and still is one of the few that would be there for us if needed without wanting anything in return. I am probably one of the few that he's ever asked anything of, and I can tell you I wouldn't hesitate if he ever needed me again, and I can't say that about many on here. He's a rare gem in this world, hobby and otherwise. Keeping him away from here could only be a bad thing and anyone who wants him gone probably has nefarious reasons for it. Just my two sense.

Yes Old Sarge was considered a legend among us up and coming providers. He always was the most helpful and interesting in my opinion.
You can very much tell the difference Pre & Post his absence.
