For quite some time now, I've been hearing from women that they constantly get bombarded with requests for bbfs. If true, then open discussion shouldn't cause those requests to markedly increase for those that practice reasonably safe habits.

If anything, encouraging the discussion will cause such random requests to go down, as guys could finally quit asking those women who are known not to partake in such activity.

Thanks for all the thoughts on this thread. It is nice to hear what they are and other ways to look at things. I thought yesterday do I need to put in my screening now asking questions "Have you been out of the country or other problems"? But that is a whole different thread.
I know what ever we do in this hobby could put someone at health risk, I just thought maybe there was a way to do less risky behavior, but not trying to change anyones mine on what you want. There were some great responses from some guys that had to see all the scare with aids when it first came out as I do remember that as well. Play safe as we can and yes you are right on that Tinman on your last comment.

Right! Lol

Its odd how health and safety can be villainized so much over a simple discussion. Its not that bad people. No one is breaking out their scroguards. Lol

Personally, I find it kind of difficult to comprehend someone working in health care being a provider. I would think y'all would be so freaked out by germs and communicable diseases aside from STD's, that you would never delve into the darkness that is our hobby.

I'm not bashing, but there does seem to be a dichotomy between the two. Maybe you like living on the edge a little. I mean, BBBJ should be as dangerous as DATY. It's fluids, like so is saliva and semen.

By this logic, nothing should be uncovered and no kissing would be the ONLY safe sex and we'd ALL have scrogaurds!!

Sex is risky business. If I can't kiss a lady passionately and lick her to orgasm's and watch her get me ready with some glorious head, I might as well stay home and fuck my silicone vagina with wet platinum. Can't get much safer than that. Not much fun either.

Do you realize how many medical professionals hobby? A LOT! More than the number of nurses who provide. We are all here because of some streak of risk in our personalities, be it nurse, doctor, histologist, virologist, healthcare admin, paramedic, etc.

Some providers start out giving $15 blowjobs on Harry Hines and some start out as professionals. Waldt. No sense in singling out one profession in particular. Why not include all medical professionals (hobbyist and provider) in your assessment?

On a related note, I find it difficult to comprehend why a pregnant woman would provide, but then I remember it's none of my business why a provider provides.

I have been hobbying for over 4 years now and my M.O is to find a regular provider to see and keep a couple as backup and every provider except for one has by the 8-10th time seeing them asked or told me that a cover was optional for me. I assume at this point that most providers do BBFS they are probably just particular who they will do it with and only after getting a feel for the particular client. Then there are the obvious providers that evryone on this board knows that offer BBFS indiscriminately. There were also 6 or 7 providers that I saw only once where a cover was not mandatory. Just be safe and assume that your client or your provider are partaking in BBFS and take the necessary steps that you feel comfortable with.

Being pregnant is a VERY sexy time for some women. I would suggest to not knock it until you're tried it.

(Did I do a thread drift? I need a spanking! )

Hugs,
Elisabeth

No argument there, EW. I had the best sex when I was preggo (married sex, even lol). Personally, I can't imagine providing in that condition but like I said, why providers provide is none of my business. And some providers provide to pay a pimp. Again, none of my business. I think its unfair to single out healthcare workers/providers. We all provide and hobby for our own reasons. Why do healthcare workers hobby? Because they do. Just like everyone else.

Agree with the BBFS comments.....That said, many hobbyists prefer to stay home and jerk off instead of having a provider run to the bathroom to spit and wash her mouth out. It's that simple for some of us. It's just not worth exchanging our pictures of Benjamin Franklin for a combo BJ/HJ ending in an airshot.

It's totally cool with us CIM hobbyists if a provider doesn't want to get near our baby batter as long as they're ok staying away from our Benjamins too! You don't question our preferences/requirements and we won't question yours.

To more directly address the OP, I suspect that few ladies can possibly imagine the difference in feeling/sensation between CIM and an airshot. Night and day. Think Romo and Aikman. Does that help?

I don't think I could provide If I ever got pregnant.

My baby's head would come out with some serious indentations.

I love sex way too much!

THN,

I am not here to argue, but the OP is a nurse and is discussing health risks, so, that is what prompted my statement. My sister was a scrub nurse for 25 + years, one BIL is a doctor, another was a nurse, my Mom was a medical secretary and I'm a first aid instructor. I'm not bashing, it was just a question and observation.

Because the OP is not a hobbyiest. We all know the risks and some folks, both sides, choose to participate in risky behavior. These days, anything other than monogamy with your first and only sex partner is dangerous.
