I just can't.
Dear EasyLover,
You seem like an alright guy and I kind of like you, but I hate that you're such a THN leg humper. You're not as annoying as Garth, but it's close. Just stop, she needs to get off of these boards, clean her room, and be a good mom.
Love,

Anyone who thinks that ebola is somehow more dangerous to the hobby community than to the community at large is ill-informed. Intimate contact of a type necessary to transmission for an infected person occurs far more in the general population (by numerical count) than it does in the small fraction of that population that engages in the hobby.
Of course this assumes that someone in an infected population is somehow in contact with the world at large, which is the focus of not just local, but national resources at the moment. The idea that ebola is creeping around your back porch is so patently ignorant that my first choice was sarcasm. Perhaps it shouldn’t be. Clearly that level is above many members.
So the conversation on ebola and the hobby is a tenuous link at best, and is more typical of the mass hysteria and fear mongering led by advertising-selling media outlets and whore-board experts that love to see “debate” here on ECCIE.
Oh, and THN: as for attempt to bring other items to this thread because of your dislike of me is a classic example of red herrings and ad hominem fallacies. You don’t like me because I’m not one of your sycophantic toadies, so you try to sound “smart” here. I don’t need to defend the previous issues, because they have already been dealt with, nor do I feel any need to drag the 3 metric tons of hobby garbage that you bring everywhere you go into this, either.
So RTM away, lady. Being a moderator here doesn’t remove my ability to have an opinion, nor laugh aloud at the foolishness of others. I know you are incapable of separating the two, though.
Oh, and I admit I was wrong in the SOB ticketing issue. I misunderstood what the tickets were for. (Licensing, not prostitution). I know that admitting error is also something you are incapable of, so maybe a demonstration helps.

Duke,
First off, if I didn't like you I wouldn't have had you over to my home with some of our mutual friends. Nor would I have opened my Chivas at your request and kept pouring it into your glass, again, at your request. You saw how I am in person and how normal my life is, which makes your outburst even more disturbing.
The truth is I live a very quiet and private life. I don't allow myself to get close to enough people in the hobby to have "sycophantic toadies". I keep my distance and stay professional. If I had them they would have responded to this attack. Two of my friends did and I appreciate that but I'm woman enough to stand up for myself. I don't need any Wks and the response to this thread (or lack there of) is proof of that.
It seems as though you are the one who cannot separate differing opinions from personal feelings. This is a simple thread discussing a current health concern in Dallas. I see no threat in discussing it and I'm not sure why it has evoked such a sharp and hateful response from you.
I have been discussing this in other threads and my position is that it will be contained successfully. Part of that success is staying aware. The flu season is coming up and being more diligent about not sessioning with the sniffles is worth a good discussion especially with the new strains of cold and flu this year. The OP did mention other illness in post #1, not just Ebola. I think maybe you are missing the overall concern of others who have families to go home to.
My point in linking those two threads was that you have chastised members in the past for believing something that turned out to be true. And the other thread I linked was to show that you are willing to advocate for one group's freedom of discussion but not another's. Its not because I dislike you, its because I am arguing the merit of this discussion and trying to stop your continual bashing of it.
I don't RTM much anymore, but I certainly did RTM your posts. As a moderator here, you have a responsibly to practice the guidelines you enforce. Your comments were rude and insulting and overall unprofessional. If the members here want to discuss their concerns over ebola and the flu they have every right to do so and who are you to criticize them for it?
Yes, you have every right to your opinion and to make fun of others who's opinion differs. A simple, "I don't think this will end up being anything but a lot of hooplah" would do, but you made it into an agenda and a personal attack on a person that YOU don't like - and for what reason, I have no clue. Seemed the evening you spent at my home, with our acquaintances, drinking and chatting the night away went quite well. I have no idea where the animosity came from after that but it did start shortly after that. Maybe you are upset that you weren't offered one of your mod perks, idk. But it seemed the time we did meet went well and I have nothing against you personally. Sorry you don't feel the same way.
There are numerous other threads on this topic. People are discussing it, especially here in Dallas. There is nothing wrong with having a responsible hobby-related discussion.

How the hell is that classified as an "ebola scare?" Seems to me, an ebola scare would be if a gent showed up at your incall, feverish, vomiting and spending an inordinate amount of time on the toilet, then asking for CBJ and no kissing, as such exhibiting the active signs of the virus. He was simply playing very safe. SMH at the hysteria the media has created....

As to the earlier question before the thread was hijacked...yes providers and hobbiests need to be more careful. I will only be seeing regulars and only those regulars who haven't traveled via plane on any business trips...anywhere. I understand though that this is easier for some than others. I have been a provider for 17 years and have a great regular list and can go indefinately without seeing a new person. But, this is the time for huge caution. This is a quote from the WHO (World Health Organization) They are NOT a government run agency and have no stake in keeping the calm like the CDC. And, they are the Gold Standard in disease control and they are the ones that give the CDC their information. The CDC often tells us what they want us to know and not what we need to know...two very different things.
Quote...
"Ebola then spreads through human-to-human transmission via direct contact (through broken skin or mucous membranes) with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected people, and with surfaces and materials (e.g. bedding, clothing) contaminated with these fluids.
People remain infectious as long as their blood and body fluids, including semen and breast milk, contain the virus. Men who have recovered from the disease can still transmit the virus through their semen for up to 7 weeks after recovery from illness."
I imagine the same would go for female vaginal fluids as it is a secretion just like semen.
Here is the link to the page I recommend everyone read it

Should hobbiests stop...not necessarily. However, this is a great time to stick with your ATFs and be very careful. One of my favorite clients and I were talking about this old commercial that use to say...and they told two friends and they told two friends and so on and so on. 2×2 to the 30th power is...take a deep breath..2,147,483,648. So imagine that in hobby terms...you see two providers, she saw two clients and each of them saw two providers and so on and so on. So know where your providers have been and stick with providers you know and trust I think. Play safe and live to hobby another day:-)

Michelle, Three weeks ago, the head of the CDC said, there isn't a major hospital in the U.S. that is not fully capable of handling an ebola patient. Obvious idiot.
I'm trying to understand how two nurses contracted ebola wearing rubbers suits, gloves and face masks.
C'est la vie. It is going to have to hit closer to home before I get too concerned.

First, at the time where we shared drinks with mutual acquaintences, it seemed amiable enough. It wasn't until I didn't mod "your way" that you took such a dislike. "I have no idea where the animosity came from after that but it did start shortly after that." It was yours. Because I didn't "side" with you on what you described as other members "out to get you." I had no side but the fact that the business didn't belong on this board, but you took it as a personal affront, and I have the PMs to back it up.
In this thread, you decided you didn't like my tone or attitude to what I consider a foolishly-overblown scare from the media, and so what did you do? Did you admonish me for my attitude on this topic? No. You decided to try and call me a pedophile supporter and to attack a mistake I made in a post. I admited the error in the Arlington issue. But your attitude that I " stick up for guys looking for girls who appear to be prepubescent" is insulting bullshit. And if your point was that I "advocate for one group" then why didn't you say so? It wasn't until your last post that you clearly stated that.
Read back to my first reply and tell me where I made ANYTHING personal about you. There isn't anything, and I stand by the fact that the ebola issue is a non-starter as being somehow more dangerous to the hobby community than to the general populace.
I was wrong to call you "thatignorantnurse." I was angry and shouldn't have posted. THAT, by the way was what I meant about being mobile. Voice to text and send is a bad way to manage temper. So...my apologies for that, and that alone.
I have a PM box with about a dozen messages from you, ranting and scathing over your percived slights from me as a moderator. Obvioulsy, I can't share them to show the members your real attitudes. Your vitriol was astounding to me, clearly as much as my "personal" reaction to your attacks here. You simply don't like it when you don't get YOUR way, and you demonstrate a complete separation from logic. You have the same reaction as hundreds of providers I've moderated here: if you get your way, all is well, but anyone who oppose your opinion has "an agenda."
My agenda on this issue is simple. The hobby/ebola scare is foolish, and not based on good medicine or fact. I stated it pretty clearly before you attempted to "show that I'm capable of error." I also never said "this shouldn't be discussed." I merely made fun of the obvious fear mongering that the news is feeding the masses, and the reactions to it here.
I have no agenda with you, merely an issue with your personal attacks in a public forum. But...that's how you roll. Your "surprise" at this is a public face, and your reality is far from it.
And now: back to the latest illness discussion. I'm done with the off topic fight and I'm sure there will be other responses.

Finally, someone who understands the rules of proper punctuation inside of quotations AND dislikes ThatMarginallyAttractiveNurse as much as I do!
Move over Torito and SurfinDick, my new mod-lover has arrived to sweep me off of my feet.
