Well as for you providers who PM'd me saying to "send them over" it would be helpful if you provided a telephone number so I can call you when the need arises.

Men are motivated to see a provider because of their hormones. If they have a high libido at that moment they contact an agency, me, and ask who is available because they are in the mood.

This is how about 90% of the hobby works...it's an impulse thing...in my experience. I know indies like to think of their hobby dates like their boyfriend dates...set days in advance. But for 90% of hobbiests it's not that way. My cancelation rate for appointments set one day or more in advance is 80%. By the next day they've already found a way to satisfy themselves or else they're just distracted by work, etc. You have to strike while the iron is hot or the opportunity is lost.

Some people call it "impulsive" but it's more romantic to say "spontaneous."

My little agency has built up over the years a huge, colossal number of regular clients who will not see anyone other than through my agency because of the ability I have to perform on short notice.

It is astonishing to me that more providers don't understand the "spontaneous" nature of hobbying. When i was in my 20s, i was horny 24/7 and could perform on command. At my age now, not so much. Making an appointment even a half day in advance is pointless - for exactly the reasons you stated - most often work or some other commitment distracts me. As it gets closer to the appointment time, i begin to dread it - i know i can't cancel because i don't want to get on the wrong side of a provider. But at the same time, i start to resent having to spend money for something i no longer am interested in and know i won't enjoy.

The agency approach is one way to go. My solution is to stick to one reliable provider who i know will see me on short notice. But it would be nice if more indy providers understood that some men (maybe most men my age) don't stay horny all the time, and can't predict very well when in the future they WILL be horny.

In all honesty, one of the most surprising things to me about hobbying is how spontaenous most of it ain't. Really, it surprises me over and over again. If I were a hobbyist, I'd have a hardon all afternoon and troll the boards for a happy hour tryst. Hell, in all honesty I'd be the asshat posting outcall ISOs at 2am on weekend nights from the back of a cab. Then back on BP at 3am finding my second pop. BUT 80%+ of my business has always come from bookings 24hr+ in advance. "Hey...I'd like dirty roleplay a week from Tuesday at 10am." Yes, sounds weird, but it's my norm. And has been my norm as an indy. (I didn't know much of the behind the scenes shit when I was an agency girl.) Last minute bookings are made, but they're most feasible with regulars. Screening can take awhile and I'm not always sitting around in lingerie at the incall. P411 helps, too.

Aaaand on the other side of the same note, as a provider, I can say that I'm not running around horny as hell every hour of the day, either (although some men here know the secret code to get me there in a flash). So if I have a day with an early booking I'll plan lunch with a friend and run errands and sort of tap out of the JennsLolli persona. Even as new requests for last minute appointments roll in unexpectedly, it can be difficult/draining to switch back to slut mode while I'm completely not feeling it, or across town, or busy being real world wooed (heh, Real World wooed...now I want to get drunk and makeout with a frat boy in a sweet condo pool). And when I legit ain't in the mood and push myself through an appointment, I don't provide the best services and I feel shitty afterwards. x7 leads to hooker burnout. Hooker burnout leads to business failure. NCNS, bad reviews, bitchin' about you in the locker room, catty posts, angry everything.

There are a lot of balls to juggle in this biz and the shaved ones are extra slippy. Being a good provider is more than just taking a shower, throwing on a face, and making eye contact while slobberin' on some balls. It takes a shit ton of energy when it's done right, and that energy isn't always there.

1) maybe they are legit running low on hookers. But due to influx in business or have u lost your workers due to a problem with the agency.

2) quality control is everything right? Willing to send hoes u dont know your faithful clients who knows the results?

3) trying to get more business for the girls u already have by boosting your public image?
