The industrial hemp industry has been around for a long time in the Yucatan, and if it were viable, it would be used. There are many better alternatives.
Ford tried it in the 1940's! If you can beat it with a hammer and it doesn't dent, and it stayed that way, it would be an unbeatable material - there must be a catch.

That's just like how in the "here and now" the MS Achille Lauro wasn't trading in "oil" and Pan AM 103 wasn't trading in "oil" and the MV Maersk Alabama wasn't trading in "oil" and most of those 3,000 who were murdered on 9/11 weren't trading in "oil". In the REAL WORLD, drluv1, smart people aren't all hazy and myopic like you, and they understand that there is real evil in the world, and they understand that most evil is not predicated on "oil", drluv1. And, unlike you drluv1, smart people know to make an effort to keep evil at a distance so as to protect their families and friends.
HUH? What other commodities produced in the middle east are imported in large quantities? Where does the money come from to fund terrorists? What does anything that Jefferson or Adams did 200 years ago have any effect on today? Where is this unfettered access you speak of? It seems you're living in a world that doesn't exist anymore with the brain a step or two more developed than a neandrethol.

Yes, the Yucatan that bastion of inovation. Given the the US government onerous regulation on hemp, it's already the leading cash crop, I think any judgements on the possible uses hemp are premature.

IBIdiot would need to add an additional 30 points to his IQ Score to elevate himself to the "neandrethol" level.

Hemp...

I remember working a pipeline through the cornfields in Iowa years ago. That shit was everywhere. It came from when they tried it back in the 30's or 40's. Ford may have had something to do with that but I think the Navy did too. To the corn farmers up there it was like a weed...Um, yeah, anyway...

If Henry Ford couldn't make it work I doubt anyone can today.

Do you stupidly imagine that oil is the only commodity on the market in the Middle East, drluv1? U.S. companies export billions of dollars worth of goods and services to that region, drluv1. Furthermore, the experiences of Adams, Jefferson and Madison exemplify that discord in that region existed without "oil" being the excuse for hostility, drluv1, and that hasn't changed. These people don't like YOU, drluv1, and YOUR "liberal, secular lifestyle".

Quote:
"Since their rise in the late 1990s, the Taliban and
like-minded groups in the Afghanistan-Pakistan border
region have launched an aggressive campaign against
liberal ways of life
, bombing music shops, destroying
schools, and murdering musicians, singers, and female
dancers."

FYI, only a "Neanderthal" would stupidly and myopically believe that all evil is predicated on "oil", drluv1. And, BTW, only a Neanderthal would misspell "Neanderthal", drluv1.

When insulting someone's intelligence, it's a good idea to spell your epithet correctly. Otherwise, you prove yourself more stupid than your target. Bet you pronounce it wrong, too.

While it may be legal in some areas of the U.S. ....it is still a forbidden topic on ECCIE.

Let's see... after 20+ years of subsidizing the fuck out of alternative/renewable energy sources, their contribution is barely visible on the graph... and you think that augurs well for the next 20 years?

COIdiot, when insulting someone's intelligence, it's a good idea to check into the facts surrounding the entire situation prior to showing your stupid, worthless, goat smelling ass. Had you done so, you would have noticed there were quotation marks on both sides of "neandrethol". Meaning I spelled the word exactly the way it was spelled in the quoted material I had taken it from. Thus the quotation marks! Duh! (See above quotes).

You are either stupid or lazy. Strike that, it is not an either/or statement due to the fact that COIdiot is both stupid and lazy!

We have come to expect such idiocy from the stupid and lazy Idiot Klan, errr Clan!
