I wouldn't call someone ugly just because you aren't attracted to them.
If she isn't your type when you get there just give her like a $20 towards her time since she spent time getting ready for you and most likely turned down other dates to see you.

My take on the etiquette in this situation is that it is totally appropriate to ask a provider to provide a face pic, with the understanding that some of them may not be inclined (including some genuine stunners).

If you make the request sound like it is an expectation/demand, be prepared to self-screen yourself off the provider's to-do list (while providers should recognize that not sending a pic may exclude them from consideration as well). Each provider owns that decision based on her own boundaries and business model.

At the same time asking other hobbyists for a face picture is cool only to the extent that the hobbyist has permission to share it (only caveat that seems fair is if the provider uses face pics publicly herself).

Something that should be clearly within bounds is to provide an opinion on the appearance of a provider or a general description like might appear in a review.

One workaround that protects the provider but gets us in the ball park resemblance wise can be a celebrity look alike,

Ultimately there needs to be a balance in sharing relevant decision making info and a provider's legitimate level of privacy.
