The only difference in a BP girl and a BP advertiser is if you strictly use BP or you use several websites (which I do). I've only been in Austin once so far ... didn't use BP there because I didn't need to. Where is there not LE drama? It's not foreign to "better" sites like P411 (or RS2K etc) even. As far as diamond in the rough in the end imo there's really only the verified and unverified (same goes for the guys). To an extent I don't feel less safe posting on BP than I do here and that is
only because how I screen is not more relaxed here with "board guys" vs a non-board guy that found me right off of BP. My screening helps to protect me not this board alone.
CL is where I started but pretty much abandoned that when I found BP and CV about the same time and for a while it was much better than using CL. I learned of other sites as time went along due to clients who used BP
and boards telling me about them. I'm thankful to those good clients from BP who didn't their nose up on a former "BP girl" by helping me expand to other places that helped me grow as a provider. And as long as BP remains a site that still works for me (along with others) I don't see the point in stopping my advertising on it when I see fit.
