If you and the OP are good, that's what matters. The rest is just hot air.

Things I have learned:
Things I have learned:
In life, you get to choose how you handle things when adversity challenges you. These choices determine your reputation. Most of the time, it is the choices of the individual which determine the individual's reputation.
Choice 1. You can be classy, adult, professional, and own your mistakes.
OR
Choice 2. You can be classless, juvenile, unprofessional, and not take responsibility for your own mistakes.
IMO, Montaigne was too generous and too quick to forgive.
IMO, all the "bullshit" comments were probably given because the family emergency excuse sounds like a feeble attempt to cover for classless, juvenile, unprofessional, irresponsible behavior which cost your client TIME and MONEY.
The worst part of all this is your horrible attitude and lack of consideration for your client.
Try Choice 2 for a while and see if life is not easier, simpler, and more profitable. Lack of communication by any service provider is generally bad for business.
LB and UC can both tell me to butt out or take a hike or whatever. Neither of your opinions matter to any sane reasonable person on this board. Especially me.

I think you meant try choice 1, not 2... but then I'm just an idiot whose opinions don't matter. I've employed choice 1 in my personal life and it's worked out quite well. I resort to choice 2 when dealing with shit-sippers.

What did he say that any idiot doesn't already know? The problem is that some people don't respond to choice 1 and that's when you take a different tact.

I dont have an attitude, if someone attacks me of course im going to defend myself. And FYI. not that you care my mother was almost killed in a car accident so i came down to little rock to help her, everyone who.knows me knows i have a great attitude and i dont screw anyone over. It was a NCNS and i owned up and apologized but what i wont apologize for is having the guts to.stand up to jerks and people who feel like tearing another person down is fun. I made a mistake, i will make up for it like i talked to him about. Hes not angry so why is everyone else? I have class but i dont put up with anyone and thier hatefulness. I hate that this thread got so ludacris over something that happens. I hate it happens but it has happened to me before, i dont belittle or post everytime im stood up. At the end of the day i dint have to explain MY LIFE TO A DAMN PERSON. if you dont like it well then i cant help you because opinions from others who know absolutely NOTHING about me means not a single thing to me.

It's all good. The two principals involved are ok and that's what matters.

I take a couple of days to do other stuff and ECCIE kinda blows up. Ouch. But, there's more to the story, and I suppose I should tell it. First of all, I hope nothing but the best for LB and for her mom.
Here's what I wrote Sunday, though, although I didn't post it. Perhaps I should have.
Here’s the message I wanted to write:
Amends made! Review to follow!
And, until noon Saturday, it looked like that was going to be how it went. Great fun had by all, and all the rest. Balance returned to the universe. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t to be.
After the post earlier, LB contacted me – with a couple of very angry texts – but we quickly got past that with some apologies back and forth. She offered me a discount, and we set up a “making amends” appointment for 6:30 yesterday. About 4 that got moved back to 7, then 8. Then a “don’t hate me” text, but we set up for today “as early as I needed.” I thought, heck, noon seems good. So, confirmed at 10 by text. 11:20 brought “on my way soon.” It was pouring buckets. 11:40 brought “Its rainng so im driving slow”. Of course, I said, be safe. And, at 12:05 came “Its just going to happen i dont think…”. I sent “Oh no. Really?” and “What happened? If I might ask.” Crickets.
I know LB has a lot of fans, and I was one of them. I know she’s had some positive reviews, including mine. And, as folks here know, I avoid drama whenever possible. But, our community also needs the know the good with the bad, or the bad with the good. Many of my fellow hobbiests – providers and hobby folks – have helped me make good decisions (or at least given me the information to, even if I didn’t listen). So, I’m doing the same. Essentially, I’m out two hotel outcall rooms and a lot of sitting and waiting. Live and learn. I’m going to close the book on this episode in my hobby career with the two oldest lines in the book – “Live and learn” and “YMMV” – those don’t just apply in-session.
I’ll hang up now and listen for the flames off air.

Sorry to hear that. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but I was obviously mistaken and I have no problem admitting that. After that experience, I would move on as well. I've long been a champion of more honesty in reviews. It only helps us if we're all honest. The problem lies in that there are a few people on here who like to whisper sweet nothings in providers' ears about ROS info and ML info. Those are the only two places we can feel free to speak our minds and it's slowly being taken away. It's a dirty little secret that most are aware of but it's like a mono-synaptic response; pants come off, mouths fly open and start spilling info.
(A mono-synaptic response is the rubber mallet to just below the knee that makes your leg kick when you get a physical. The brain is never really involved as the neurons interact with a motor neuron in your spinal cord.)

Montaigne, I'm so sorry you had to go through that, yet again! A NCNS twice in a row, that's just unbelievable. You would think that there would have been a desire to follow through, especially considering that everyone is watching the events in this thread unfold...
Choose providers with a consistent & reliable history, and your experiences will get exponentially better.

Well, Ginger, to be fair, the second was a last minute cancellation, not a NCNS. Regardless, the "ludacris" thing about all this are the ludicrous lies posted about everything being good when, in fact, the Bridge had clearly fallen down on her make good promise. I "dint" think that bridge's reputation has changed in hundreds of years.

You're so right, Rocky. I stand corrected. It was a last second cancellation, after he already paid for the room & wasted his time. Again.
