as you said, it's close to 7 mil when you include all the surrounding areas and it beats Houston and its surrounding areas.

that coupled with the fact that girls from Oklahoma and Shreveport probably also count for Dallas providers would be my guess why they have 200+ more. but of course I do not know that for sure.

just did a search and just roughly counting, Oklahoma - 122 providers, Shreveport-34

not sure that would make the difference being as I doubt all of them even go to Dallas but say 50 to 70 do, then Dallas really only has about 150ish girls on Houston. I could see that with the population difference. (300,000+ poplation. if my math is right that's still less than 1% being providers)

Those of us who can read and comprehend can see that you did not specify area or population. Some assumed one way and some assumed the other. Even if your data is incorrect and the areas are more equal than you postulated, in population and/or land area, there is still a considerable difference in provider count. If they are close to equal them that is a considerable percentage gap.

Also, those of us who partake in dialogue, as opposed to just trolling, would assume that you were looking for a discussion of ideas and thoughts rather than actually expecting someone to post a clear factual, provable and definitive answer. To that end, I would wonder if there are actually more providers or just more on Eccie. It does seem that there are more, but perhaps there are less 'other' venues in Dallas where there is a group of providers who would not be on Eccie. I don't know that, just something I would consider if I actually cared.

If you want my honest, semi-thoughtful answer, I think it is because of the mentality in Dallas. I call it the home of the $50,000/yr millionaire. Dallas is so flashy and judgmental. Everyone charging their cards to get the newest toys right into bankruptcy to impress everyone else. So, girls want that Louis Vuitton bag and those Manolo Blahniks so they can keep up. Except they work at Chipotle. Then some guy or girl comes along that tells them they can make the money for those shoes TODAY. Bam... 'nother escort enters the fray.

There's not so much pressure to be flashy in Houston. It feels more like a blue collar town. You don't HAVE to drive a Lexus to make friends.

Just my little theory.

OP, there was a time when the stable numbers were reversed. Then, there was a heavy crackdown in Houston. The studios were raid. There were a couple of high profile prosecutions. The ladies were made less than welcome by local enforcement. The culmination of that is referred to as black tuesday. While it was more complicated than that single event. Black tuesday gave a face to the unwelcome atmosphere that became the Houston market.

Using Eccie verified providers as your only comparison is where your theory fails. You also need to count number of unique BP ads, Asian massage parlor etc..
Houston has an abundance of mediocre, un attractive, low priced hookers. When they come here we usually run them off or they give up because no wants to take a chance on an unknown.
Dallas also has a much larger organized network of pimps who know how to market young hot ladies as "independent" providers with top notch services while Houston pimps would rather hustle and turn and burn the tricks.
