The task force is being driven by this group http://elijahrising.org/ and their founder Kat , they are like the Hamas of human trafficking.
They hide behind human trafficking/children ( a horrific but very small portion of sex workers ) as a way to raise money to support their cause.
In their eyes, no woman makes the choice to dance a strip club or work at a spa or go independent hooking on their own. While nothing can be further from the truth.....having the public know that two consenting adults are doing something this organization does not morally like will not get them donations to continue their lies. So they have to take Van Tours and lie to good Christian Church Groups about what is actually going on in strip clubs, Spas and independent hookers.
They claim to be concerned about the ladies in the business yet constantly goad LE to arrest these girls putting a blemish on their record that will guarantee them from ever transitioning out of this line of work and finding a job where they are not hassled by the likes of this well meaning but misinformed group.
Hopefully Constable Al Rosen will wake up to his being used by this group and quit wasting taxpayers dollars based on this small but vocal group that thinks that all sex is a human trafficking problem. If not the voters in his precedent will send him a message come election time.

Everytime we see a raid like this especially in the news, human trafficking seems to be the main reason why these raids happen in the first place. That term really drives LE to focus on spas rather than real crime. It's all fucking stupid because I am sure that 99.9% of the girls here in the US are working as spa girls on their own free will. And I'm 100% sure that there is no child human trafficking here as you hear in other countries like Cambodia. The fact that LE and the media have not been able to provide any evidence of actual "victims" in AMPS just really pisses me off not only because the are focusing on a non-victim crime, but they are wasting their time on this rather than real crime.
There is or was a problem in the Mexican Cantinas. Elijih Rising has cashed that into a money cow where they lump all into human trafficking.
They were featured on MSNBC last night where they were going after trafficked Back Page girls. The time frame was December of 2013 I believe....they were able to extract one AA female who basically had an abyss tooth and passed out in their arms. There was not some Human trafficking organization as far as I could tell, only family members taking advantage of a bad situation.
They were spending huge amounts of money and getting no results on BP , so they have switched over to these so called human trafficked Spas.
They are trying to shut down the oldest profession in the world with a pack of lies. They have only spread what was once was more centered in commercial districts (Look at where this busted Spa was located) to women working out of residential locations on their own in a much more dangerous environment for themselves. Great job Elijah Rising.
As a female that has worked in the Spa's over the years, I've seen way more problems over harassment from LE and this group than any pimps trying to take my money and have never seen so called human trafficking. While this group may think they are doing good, their results are doing more harm than good. If you have to lie about girls being trafficked to get donations....you should take a look in the mirror about just who needs the intervention.
Everyone should take their Van tours and see for yourself the lies this group spreads. They want BP and this web-site shutdown. We should organize and fight back with the truth ...
