b.One is paying for the experience, not just for the food. One can get food at home or very cheaply at McDonalds. The Date can also be compared to that.
c. At most restaurants (even McDonalds) the management comps regularly to insure customer delight.

Most of the Lady's here get this and strive for Customer Delight or Satisfaction (they even advertise it)
