personally, I would avoid any tattoo that would distract from your natural beauty.
also, if you are in a social situation or a job in the future do you want the tattoo to show?? Is a question I ask constantly.. so I would avoid any tattoo that shows if you are wearing low cut, wide scope of neck/collar on a top.

I used to be anti-tattoos until I met Bobby Upside. Now I appreciate artwork if it's not carried to the extreme. I like the location chart Emmie.
That's a nice saying you're thinking about. I can't help but wonder what the majority of people who get tats in their 20's and 30's will think about them in their 60's and 70's.

For me tattoos are personal pieces of art intended to remind a person of places they've been, people they've met/loved and meaningful experiences they've had in life. They can also be a way to display inner most thoughts/opinions etc to the world and to yourself, through art.
I have a couple of tattoos and they all have deep important meaning to me. They aren't some flash picked off a wall during a drunken night - they are thought out, personal and meaningful.
One is a saying to that I live by - it's a constant reminder to myself to be true to who I am. Sounds like the saying you want on you has some meaning that is important to you.
My only recommendation with tattoos is get one done only IF YOU WANT TO. Fuck what everyone else thinks - it isn't their body and tattoos are for the rest of your life. Get it because YOU WANT TO because there's a deep long lasting reason you'd want it on your body forever.

If a person desires ink they will get it. I have never cared for tramp stamps. Unless it was directions on how she preferred K(9...

Not that anybody here is a fan of Miley, but her ink would be an example of some alternative placement and not all her body art is displayed prominently. Her music videos on YouTube show it off with Wrecking Ball and Adore.

I'm unsure why you found it necessary to highlight doing something because YOU want to do it?
Are people commonly doing things, like gettting inked, because they have a gun to their head?
While you are making your choice to get that ink, other people are free to judge you based on what you based on that ink,
Yes, you are free to whine and moan about it, but people are still going to do it.
Keep that in mind

I think you missed my point.
Too many people do things like getting tattoos because it's the "in" thing to do and jump on the bandwagon to get validation from others. I know a few people who drunkenly decided to get inked on a whim just because myself and friends have them and they thought it would be cool to get one. I told one of my friends to wait and if they really want one, think of something that's got a lot of meaning to you. They got restless, couldn't wait to be "inked" and ended ip getting some shitty flash with no meaning that they now regret.
Yes - no-one is hold a gun to anybody's head while sitting in a tattoo artists chair. My point was only go and get something done if you are getting it for you and no-one else. INMO tattoos are personal. You should be only be getting inked if you know you'll be happy with it forever even if no- one EVER sees it. If you are getting inked so you can show it off to people and get some kind of validation from others about your tattoo, IMHO you're doing it for the wrong reason.

No matter what one thinks about their own tattoos is not the point. The thing to remember is that, like it or not, you will be judged by others because of the ink. Don't respond with the lame ass comeback that "people shouldn't judge". They do.
