It is a crying shame you don't live closer. Depending on what you want, they are neither expensive nor complicated to make. I have made several that served quite nicely. My favorite was an integrated stock unit with a remote control motor. I would like to make one eventually that could be hooked up to the internet. Some kind of interactive cam/control setup.

Hmmm, a craft thread. I think most would like it. Perhaps as a sticky under one of Elizabeth's sections. Why, I do believe we're already here.

There's a robotic platform you can get that's pretty easy to program called a Romo. It requires an iPod or iPhone but uses the front facing camera. It has tracks that could be used to operate two different variable controls. And it works remotely for the pay per view fun. Totally doable, I'll see about a mockup if any providers are truly interested.
