Best place to exchange USD to CAD?

With the USD being so weak last couple years, basically at par with the CAD, this was no problem. Most ladies gladly took USD at par. Now that USD is worth 11% more than CAD, who is giving the best exchange rates? The Slots in Ft Erie used to be the most convenient and gave the best rate but is closed now. At Slots if the rate was 11% like now, they gave you 10%. Slots were better than the Casinos in NF.

So the question is, who is giving the best rates now?

I always just stop at the first government place after the bridge(s) that does exchange. I'm not going to waste time or gas for a buck or two on a hundred...
And I ALWAYS exchange my money... no matter what the rate.

Used to do that till Slots and Casino came along which always give a better rate. Ft Erie Slots was right on the way, not out of the way at all and always gave a rate, 1 point off the daily exchange rate! Stopped getting CAD when our dollars were <10% apart because girls were happy taking USD at par.

I always exchanged when we got 10% or more. Really miss those days of getting >50%! Now since USD is up 11% over the CAD it's time to look for a good exchange place....lol

Used to do that before banks on both sides of the border starting whacking you for exchange fees....lol

Got the best rate of 64%, one night in mid 90s back then!... with no ATM fees! Those were the days....

Now most Canadian banks are almost as bad as US banks on these 'fees'.

In and out in a couple minutes to exchange $$$....unless ya decided to play the slots.....lol
