DeMarcus Ware Cut
Wow. Know he is overpaid for his production but was hoping they'd do a reworked deal. Feel like I lost a family member. My favorite Cowboy - class guy.

If they were smart they'd do a lot more.
They need to shitcan and start over.

He looked like he was breaking down the last three years. 7.5 million is a lot of cap room.
Awesome player in his prime and a great guy too.
But almost too nice...we need some nastiness from edge rushers.
Miles austin will be shitcan after june 1st.

I feel Miles Austin owes money back to the team after what he's stolen since he signed his big contract but Jerry was dumb enough to keep him around.

He's a good man and a good player but they know the extent of his injuries and the probability that he will remain healthy so they made a business decision.
Lot's of brand new healthy college talent to invest in.
I'm sure he'll get picked up and play a few more years somewhere and probably be very productive.
It's the nature of the business.

JJ finally made a smart GM move, but the stupid GM move by signing him to the contract like that to begin with. Just think if football were like the other major sports and the contracts were guaranteed!

Austin got booted, too. Good call EL.
This should put all the players on notice...if they'll cut Ware they won't think twice about cutting me, too.
