PROBLEMS WITH SLOW PAGE LOADS

Some of you are experiencing problems with the site running slowly. Sometimes very slowly. The administrators are aware of the problem, know the cause and are working on a resolution.

Some people have trouble all the time while others only experience intermittent problems. Some people have no trouble at all. While it seems most people using Internet Explorer (especially the new IE 11) have the most trouble, it is across all browser platforms.

Firefox and Chrome seem to be the least affected according to other members. Some have reported that disabling the flash player in IE in the internet tools, however this will affect video playback on other sites.

Sometimes refreshing the page or re-clicking on the link or button will work.

Just be patient and hopefully things are resolved quickly.

I thought it was my chromebook or the internet service. Im boarding a plane tomorrow and headed to a location that there is no internet, a resort, good for the soul. It comes at a good time, ready to take a break and come up with some kinky thread ideas.

Dave: I was out of town a few days, logged on last night & it was fine. Today I get home, log on... and we're back to where we were last week. This is in case they thought it was totally fixed & haven't realized it's working slowly on IE again. Again, my Chrome does OK--just IE is slow-loading.
