Delayed loading of pages, when navigating
Anyone else having trouble loading pages (full site)?
I'm trying to determine if the problem is my machine, or the site.
When navigating, all page content that will fit on my screen, without scrolling, will display immediately.
But it takes up to 5 minutes for remaining content to load and the vertical scroll bar becomes available.
Put another way: it seems header data loads immediately, but body content is delayed.
This seems to have started 2 days ago, after my premium access was reinstated, but I find it hard to believe that's the cause.
If no one else is having this issue, it must be something on my machine, but I'd appreciate any suggestions of what to look for, such as IE Settings, Firewall, etc.
Thanks.

Yep, as K-M said, it started yesterday. Also had time-outs while attempting to submit posts.
For some reason I notice better access on a faster Win8 machine than older computer.

Firefox works fine
Just installed Firefox - using it for this posting.
Not only does everything work fine, but it seems to be quicker than IE.
Either Microsoft did an update to IE or ECCIE changed something that IE is struggling with.
I had been running IE in 'Private' mode so if I find similar setting in Firefox, I'll let you know.
If anyone knows a reason to not use Firefox, please do say...

Automatic Notifications
I received email notifications that douglas_m and knotty man, had posted replies, but I did not get one for Loxly's post.
Loxly, I mention this because you mentioned time-outs and other pm's/posts that you've done, may be undelivered.

Also had the problem on my laptop running Win7. Bit the bullet an downloaded Firefox to check it out. I actually think it's running faster than it was using IE before the problem! Sucks but whatever works, right? Now off to the desktop....

My ECCIE Reviews

I've been having issues, and I've only been using safari on my iPhone. Tried all day to post a reply to a thread in coed - no luck. Figured it was a conspiracy! The powers that be were trying to shut me up! LMAO!

Eccie site seems to be having problems for a few days.
In general Firefox is ALWAYS faster than IE ... Chrome used to beat Firefox hands down, but FF has caught up.
Def. something fishy going on ....

CSB, sorry, but the CBS is not yet powerful enough to shut the PM up, lol
... but we are in the process of hiring a CB technician from the NSA to infiltrate and work on it, but he might become PW'ed, unless we go for a female technician, well then, probably same thing ...

probably an add-in
no improvement in IE but I noticed, even in Firefox, the "hourglass" keeps spinning long after the page appears to be fully loaded.
Maybe IE hangs on an add-in, while other browsers continue to load, with or without the add-in functioning.
Quite possible with all the different advertiser on an ECCIE page.
