Nuru Massage is an ancient Japanese art type of erotic slide massage. The Japanese word "nuru" signifies "slippery". It just uses nothing but Nuru oil and bare skin. Nuru Gel is an exceptionally slippery massage gel that originated in Japan and is made from an extract of Nori deep water seaweed.

I just discouraged a Nuru experience last week and not because I don't like it and have everything needed to do it well (Nuru gel, fancy - smancy Liberator dirty play mat) because it's actually a cold type of activity.

In other words, you asked about logistics, it's best to be slightly damp/wet before starting and then, it's a messy type of play.

If it's cold outside, and you keep the heater at a modest temperature, it's just a bit cold to play and do Nuru inside, unless you have the fire going in the fireplace or your house is insulated and very warm.

Otherwise, it's a lot of fun. Another thing that is important to remember with Nuru is that you have to get a bit wet beforehand, but to clean up afterwards, you need to get IN the shower and wash off with soap and water. Real Nuru gel doesn't rinse off with water.

It's a water soluble concoction, but you need a wash cloth and some friction to remove it.

I'm just writing off of the cuff here but in terms of cost, it's rather expensive to offer Nuru because the gel cost a lot. What the bottle doesn't tell you is that you don't need to use the Nuru gel full strength out of the bottle. Take a bowl and dilute the crap out of the stuff. It'll be just the same with added water.

Regardless of that, a very small bottle is over $30. So that, with the purchase of a messy play mat or anything else needed to play with something so messy and slippery (rubber/plastic sheet, small wading pool on the living room floor), it does cost a lot more than just supplying a few condoms, etc.

+1 with Raelinn here in Austin. My thighs were sore for two days from trying to keep them together while massaging her on the slipperly mat.
