Even dull objects like a butter knife can feel very sharp if you place it in the freezer for a while beforehand. Also, taking a light sandpaper and gently running it on the general area will make the sensation even more intense. Do it all while they are blindfolded to heighten the other senses.

For purposes of the thread, I think it worthwhile noting the distinction between what we as active agents look for to extend our sensual portfolio and what our partners find arousing. I say this on the basis of very limited direct experience with EW (although I recommend it without reservation); somewhat more in this realm. There are different fetishes out there and when you find some one by chance it is serendipity. To start with the search for some one is next to impossible. I was with Dezirie a while back and wanted to do some bondage pictures. Having never been with her before I had to develop a method to make it appear she was chained and locked on the bed.
