Seriously? You're not bright enough to figure out why the former could fail to eliminate the need for the latter?
I'll assume your ignorance is willful. The alternative, given that you're a voting member of society, is simply too frightening.

Well I expect you know a lot about willful ignorance. Just don't be so proud of it.

There is a distinction between BUYING VOTES and "political cover"!
As long as someone is getting "unemployment" they will remain "unemployed" ...
.. and they can sit on their asses and do nothing ... or just hang out at Walmart.

Please provide the link from a reputable source justifying your claim that "as long as someone is getting unemployment they will remain unemployed."
Otherwise, it shall be considered as yet another in an increasingly long line of LexiLiar attempts at deflection.

Does everyone know how the BLS computes the Unemployment? If anyone thinks the REAL unemployment is 6.7% you are wrong, period, no other way to put it..
that 6.7% does NOT include everyone who is not actively seeking a job!!!!!! this says its does take some of those into account but not all so again the 6.7% is not a real number that accounts for EVERYONE, looking and not looking.

For proper historical context, comparing apples to apples, it's 6.7%.

Why would you include people who are not looking for a job?

Actually, in this instance, he's correct. Because as soon as someone stops receiving unemployment, they are no longer unemployed.
Must give LL credit when credit is due.

There are several shortcomings to the definitions but you have to work with something. My cynical self finds it hard to believe in the numbers, suspecting they all are doctored to fit the need at hand.
That person who isn't looking may not be unemployed, certainly isn't for the report, but he might be a problem and if so, his invisibility compounds it.
