All I gotta say is professional photos are expensive. You have to pay for the amount of time, outfit changes, makeup artist and hair stylist. And then a ton for each print. And then a few for each print's touch ups. And it's awkward having to explain to someone why you don't want your face showing or why you need all your tattoos blurred out. That's the only photoshop in mine and in one of my pics they did an awful job (it's on my side) and it just looks like they tried to remove a third arm or something. Ugh.

TY Mooney...

Truth is - most gals only know what they have been told from their clients. Perspective - they think what they are doing is working as is. The don't realize that improved marketing means anything. BP/CL ladies usually have a ton of "guys with a camera" offering free photos(usually shitty) in exchange for free pussy. How can they pass that offer up.

Cellfies* - chickas feel amazing in front of the bathroom mirror when they are getting ready for a hot date - they are their sexiest ever - and *this* cell phone photo is the BEST pic they have ever taken of themselves.. ever!!!

Entry level and all...

CompanionSofia - I have to advise you not to use general civvy photographers, even if they are in the "Boudoir" genre. Mainly because they don't understand what you need as a product. Also, MANY have issues with their work being used in a business such as this. I've heard of a couple high end ladies being sued over use of photos or proofs in escort advertising. Better to be upfront.

Best to find a Provider friendly photographer.
I wish we had a better option for advertising photography/web services local to Dallas other than the Main BSfP section. I know there are quite a few decent photogs here.

Megan Love - http://www.meganlove.net/ Not local, but gets here often.

PhotoFantasies - http://www.modelmayhem.com/53889

Not sure if DFWRaven or Pearlman is still around..

Of course I am still getting my feet under me. Lots to learn.

I've run across a few Escort friendly photographers and enjoy their work. Some are from all over the country. I need to keep a running list. *sigh*

the thing that kills me is the tiny photos. nothing more annoying than clicking a hot looking thumbnail only to get....another thumbnail.

and ze is right. there are plenty of escort friendly shooters, but not all of us advertise. i know for myself, it's a sideline to my regular photo work and i only work with a few girls each year.

also, the price per print model is ooooold school. a true pro should tell you up front what to expect in terms of delivery....how many images, what kind of retouching to expect, etc. and should ask YOU what you want from the images.

I agree 100%. I've worked with a few ladies here but you'll never see a hint of those photos near my mainstream photography work. What would happen to the business if mom knew that the photographer taking her daughter's Senior photos also took escort photos? I don't do Senior photos but I felt that gave the best example.

There are a few things you can do to get somewhat decent shots out of even a camera phone. Things like, turn on enough lights to get either an even field, or a specific effect, find in your settings the proper setting for the lighting so that the color is at least somewhat correct, and the easiest and most often overlooked, clean off the smudgy fingerprints from the lens. If you're wondering what that weird haze is in your bathroom selfies, it's the gunk on your lens.

I have to admit, if a lady is a CL/BP girl offering 80 BNGs, then a couple of bathroom selfies is probably all I would expect to see. If a girl is asking 250-300 an hr (or more), then at some time I would expect them to pony up and get some decent shots done. There are plenty of guys around offering services, some for money, some for trade. A true professional shoot will take place in a studio or on location with proper lighting, hair and makeup artist and someone who knows how to give direction, and will probably cost a pretty penny. The compromise is to do your own hair and makeup, and shoot at an incall or someone's house.

Ask for examples of work, in the genre that you're wanting to be shot in (pretty much boudoir in this case). Talk about what equipment will be used, if the camera is an SLR, if there is additional lighting. Go over "concept" ideas for the shoot, even if it's as simple as lying on a bed looking cute, make sure some kind of expectation is communicated so if you're happy or unhappy in the end you'll know why. I've had a girl show up and say "where do I stand?". It didn't go well and the results were not something I was proud of. There are guys who have ideas in mind that they want to shoot, ask about them and exchange ideas to fully develop the idea so that it'll be something you like.

Most of all, find a way to have some fun with it, the results will show through.

not trying to start a fracas here, but this is horseshit.

first, most people don't know fuck all about photography equipment, so an explanation of your gear is a waste of time.

second, a good shooter will make better images with a polaroid than 95% of people with a $1000 dslr.

finally, i don't use them ,but mirrorless cameras are becoming more common.

girls, NEVER be sold on photography by anybody who goes on about their gear or how many photos they'll shoot of you.

Plenty of people complain that anything but a poor cell phone shot must be "photoshoped". I've enjoyed photographing some of the ladies here, one very much in particular. But, numerous times, I've spent hours moving furniture, setting up lights, etc. only to have the lady flake.

To fellow shutterbugs I'll say the following:
1. Don't post ads or ISO's looking for providers to shoot. You will end up with ladies you don't really want to shoot and it potentially takes business away from pros who have every right to make a living (though the defensiveness and outright rudness of some "pros" is amazing sometimes. "Ignore" is your friend with them).

2. Be ready for the fact that not showing the lady's face severely limits what you can do and thus your enjoyment of crating the images.

3. Decide and let the lady know up front if you are or are not willing to hide flaws with photoshop. I've only been asked once, and didn't take the photos.

4. Be ready for the fact that perfectly good photos may be unacceptable to the lady because they do, in fact, look too much like her. I had this happen once which wasted one of the very few chances per year I get to shoot nudes/implied.

5.. You subject may retire, or otherwise decide she no longer wants a photo displayed. So, even if you consider a shot to be your masterpiece, it won't see the light of day ever again.

6. Don't think for a minute that offering free photography will make the subject any less demanding, the opposite can sometimes be true in fact.

7. Don't be surprised or upset when the lady you ask to pose treats you like a weirdo or pervert, they get lots and lots of people asking to take their photos who have agendas.

8. It's always better to ask a lady you've had a session or two with if you want to try your hand at this sort of photography.

9. Finding a provider who is as into photography, especially artistic photography, as you are is a 1/million chance. Believe me, it's wonderful when you find her, but oh so rare.

Photography has always been almost as controversial here as BBFS and NBA, and it's not going to change anytime soon.

I have been offering my photography services in the ISO section, with little to no response. It seems most providers just don't want or need professional photos. Personally I think its so they can kind of hide behind the bad quality.

But ladies, if you read this, I am always open to setting something up. Just PM me.

i looked at a couple of your posts.

that's not going to work.

if you don't come in with an existing portfolio you can show samples of, you're not going to be taken seriously.

your best bet is to see if a girl you already have rapport with would like to work with you and allow you to use the images as advertising in here.

OK, I wasn't going down the path of "it's all about the gear". Any jackass can walk down to Arlington Camera and buy a D4, but it's just a tool, doesn't mean he's worth a shit. I was attempting to offer different ways for a girl to engage in a conversation with a shooter in order to start a dialogue. Besides, if a girl is just expecting a guy to show up with a camera and he starts dragging in strobes and modifiers and there's no place to put them, it could be awkward.

It should always be about the quality of the work. Any guy who is worth his salt will have a number of examples of work and be willing to share them. Anyone who goes on about gear, or how good he is without backing it up should be a major red flag.

Kinlee's new photos are a good example of simple, professional, hot, and
natural looking JMHO

But it is Kinlee after all.

They blurred a little when I resized them.

The too white sheets actually bring out her beautiful complexion.
And seem to accent that little booty of perfection she has.

Ok lol this gave me a good laugh, it sounds like you should not photograph providers anymore lol you made it sound like the most teeth pulling thing to try to work with us hahaha, . I can only speak for myself. I do the same routine when getting ready for a photo shoot as I do in real life for an appointment. Same make up, same lingerie, or nice skirt and blouse with matching undies for outcall.

Now in my photo shoot I find it quite easy to pose and change outfits fairly quickly so I can get in about 150-200+ pictures in , in about 90mins to 2 hours. I don't now what kind of camera my photographer used but they came out nearly perfect without editing at all.

Now the point of professional pictures are to look like a clean crisp picture that you consciously decided I am doing this for my escort portfolio, not just randomly taking pictures that u decide are great later. I think when a woman has pro pics it shows she takes her business seriously.

The one difference between shooting and editing escort photos from regular photography of regular people, is that you do not need to play too much with anything other than lighting and sharpness. All those fancy black and white and inverted and putting emoticons and stuff in pictures is frowned upon because you are distracting from what the picture is meant for which is to sale the girl. So the picture should be showcasing the woman. Making lighting even and editing out blemishes are the most editing you need to do. IMO. here are a few raw pictures I just got done and edited myself
