A Question Of Conscience
I can't speak for the other guys on this board, but my own sense of sexual identity has a lot to do with the fact that I've been able to summon the courage and high-mindedness to pay for real live women, rather than looking at porn. When I log on to this site and I'm forced to view some of the rank-ass advertisements which appear around the edges of the screen, I feel a lot like those Little Sisters of the Poor must have felt, when told that their health insurance had to include coverage for rubbers and abortions.
Just sayin'.

Yep, agree as well. But I admit I have started to just tune them out.
The worse part is when I would rather just sit there in a public location and read the forums or my PMs but I can't because of the ads.

That's how the Site owners makes their $$$$$.
It is not off the small yearly amount generated from Premium Access accounts.
You might look-into ad-blockers for your browser.
I do not even see them any more.

I like that statement very much. I wouldn't have put it quite like that, but I know exactly what you're talking about. The hobby habit is also more self-regulating. While I could probably afford to see providers multiple times each week, other activities and responsibilities prevent it. Thus, the hobby is, paradoxically, an antidote for pornography addiction.
It's like the guy who goes to drug rehab and the counselor helps him realize he's trying to escape his sexual past--childhood, religion, social, etc.--and so the guy transfers his drug addiction to a sex addiction. The hobby, then, with its self-imposed limitations, seems to be a way out of the sex addiction. It's a long, arduous process.
The ads? Think of them as one more limitation on the hobby, which ultimately leads to freedom from just another addiction. Ignore 'em.

If your suggestion or request (Member Suggestions and Forum Requests) is to remove the ads, I'd rather ignore ads than turn this into a subscription-based site. As previously mentioned, the site owners make money from ads. They also make money by charging for premium access, but reviewers can avoid that charge by posting reviews.
In terms of everything else, no comment.

When I first started using this site, the ads used to bother me a little bit, but now I pretty much just tune them out. As previously stated, you could just use some ad blocking software to remove them.

Yeah, I'd rather they weren't there so I could log on where ever I wanted to, but bills gotta be paid.
I just wish that the women shown actually lived in my town, I might click through.

So you're saying all those sexy singles near me aren't actually close by?
With adblock for FF the only ads I ever see are the other escort site ads.
Somehow the ads have been able to sneak through the adblock extension on my phone though.

Beware the false dilemma, folks. There's a blindingly obvious middle ground between no ads at all and the kind that require you to be behind locked doors when you log on. A pretty Korean girl in a business suit, holding a tasteful banner--"Busted in AMPville? Better call Saul!"--is something I could certainly live with.
