You guys make this easy. The water and the land are stationary targets. The climate (not weather) is a moving target that is always changing. You sound like a shaman who does a rain dance, if it rains then he is a hero, if it doesn't then he finds a scapegoat. Progressive environmentalism is a primitive religion.

It was the right who cleaned up the environment. Richard Nixon established the EPA with the support of the GOP. It was the middle class who decided that the highways were dirty and cleaned them up. Same middle class cleaned up the lakes and rivers. Why do you think they call them conservatives? Then something happened. The liberals started demanding that things be banned; paper bags, plastic bags, DDT, lead shot, etc even though the "evidence" was inconclusive and turned out to be dead wrong later. The left killed jobs and people, millions of each. What kind of idiots ban dust, rain water run off, and migrating species? Liberal progressive environmentalists that's who. I'm going to start calling the church of the LPE. or CLPE.

When did the (middle class) you remember the ones without jobs. Become conservative? Aren't they the lazy sluggards on unemployment now?

For sure Just Dumb the ones on long term unemployment are just sluggards. I have seen you right wingers say so on this board. Outsourcing jobs turned the middle class into the poor. Have you spent so much time on latrine duty lately?

I've had friends who visited China and if they weren't in support of clean air legislation before they went, they were when they came back.

My opinion is that the people who fund climate change deniers, don't care about climate change, they just want to roll back clean air/water legislation so they can pollute to their hearts content just to make a few extra bucks while making the living conditions for everyone else miserable.

Also I had read somewhere, that while we are experiancing record cold, Australia is having record heat and drought. It all evens out somewhere. But the averages keep going up.

hard to imagine pumping billions of tons of pollution into the atmosphere on a daily basis doesn't have its consequences .. but this world is a "stationary" target so we're immune ...

Brilliant !

I missed the question CJ and I went back to look. There was NO question. Want to try again. I was listening to Rush Limbaugh earlier and guess what? He agrees with Eva. Funny how you never see Rush and Eva together....
