I'm not sure how post #10 & #11 are on topic but can board members be OFF TOPIC all they want until a MOD posts to stay on topic or should posts be on topic all the time? Or can you say what ever you want and then at the end just post something stupid to remain on topic? Ruling Godfather?

I don't think being on topic with some comment at the end of a statement should relieve their responsibility for other comments made.

I know what you are getting at to let me say I would handle it by admonishing them for their negative comment, giving them a few points for being off topic to start but then a little praise for coming back around to the topic.

Kind of like spanking the child but letting them know you really do care about them
