BCBS and Humana are selling policies on the government exchange. They are not private health insurance companies? I did not say that the government ordered them to sell policies on the exchanges. These companies and others chose to do so.

Why the lecture LL? Neither company is controlled by the government like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. I would consider IBM a private company, they sell shares of stock so they are not privately owned. The point I was trying to make in the other reply is that Obamacare and Medicare are different. RedL was saying they are the same.

Cigna, Humana, Aetna, et al, are selling policies in Texas through healthcare.gov. They are absolutely private insurance companies. Medicare, on the other hand, is the government and what THEY pay doctors sets the bar for the private companies, which is why so many of them developed their own "death panels" decades ago.
The system was so seriously fucked up and corrupt that reform was imminent. And it has only just begun.
WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU STILL ARGUING ABOUT, LLIDIOT? You're going down (pun intended) with your whiny bitch ship in Shoal Creek ... you know, the one near Clarksville!
It's January 1.
I'm COVERED!
Fuck you!

If you signed up for an Obamacare policy and paid your premium, if you got sick after midnight, you would be covered and could submit a claim. That is what changed.

.............. that's up to the individual carrier ....
The President of the United States of America ..........
...............CANNOT dictate to private insurance companies what and when they must cover health care claims. Period.
That has not changed.
The agency can modify the qualifications for Medicaid and allow uninsured persons to sign up for Medicaid, which is paid by the State.
That is NOT an "Obamacare Policy"!

You talking about me? If I am what YouRong calls me ...
.. I should LOVE the ACA .... may be you should ( or can ) look at like this ....
You don't like the government telling you who to fuck and whether you can pay for it ....
I don't either.
I also don't like the government telling me I have to be insured with a policy and ....
..... whether I can refuse to pay for it or not ... at the risk of being penalized with a tax.
Does that help?
Now the government is telling you what her hair color must be, whether she has a shaved pussy, and how many times a month you can fuck her. And telling her when she has to fuck you and in what positions. Because the government has decided it knows better.

Up until now they (insurance companies) were controlled by the States .... look it up!
The Federal government has gotten into the regulation of health insurance carriers ... sorta.
First you say they aren't private. Then you say the government is not controlling them.
Which is it? The government (see above) regulates health insurance companies ..
BCBS & Humana ... et al. All this shit is about "Federalizing" the health insurance business. Period.

Do you just make this shit up, or do you actually believe that crap?
No wonder you don't know where Nau's ENFIELD Drug is located!!!!!!!!!!
Medicare doesn't set what private companies pay doctors.
Why the fuck do you think that doctors are stopping taking Medicare patients?
Because MEDICARE DOES NOT PAY AS WELL AS PRIVATE COMPANIES!!!!
DUH!!!!!
Do you have a clue as to how Medicare codes/charges are determined? Can I answer it?
Fuck No! Or you wouldn't make such a dumb-ass remark.

It's an index called the SGR. Look it up. of course, we all know you know all, right?
when Medicare reduces reimbursement to physicians, the private plans follow suit. I never said Medicare paid as well as the private companies. You're the one making the shit up, LLIdiot.
Keep painting yourself into a corner, leech.
You're as ignorant as your are arrogant. No wonder you had to write four posts in a row. Can't figure it out. You truly ARE a member of the idiot family! along with your sisters! JD and IB.
And Nau's Enfield Drug is on West Lynn, in Clarksville. Nowhere near enfield road. keep arguing that one, dicksuck.
