I went two years ago but the event has slipped a lot as it moved from the Doubletree to the Hilton Airport and now it's split between two venues with the hotel being the Holiday Inn by Highland Mall right next door to Back Page Hotel Travel Lodge......
Seems that the event organizer is leaving a trail of unpaid bills behind, or at least that is what has been talked about.
A big draw for me when I went was the multiple parties and "lock in" atmosphere where we could move from party to party, pop up to the room for a break, back down to the party again. In that venue it was a blast and well worth the cost....
Now you have to venture out into the cold to walk about 150 yards from the venue to your room, right at the edge of the old Highland Mall.... Seems like easy pickings for APD loking for some PI busts....
On the plus side you do have the option of possibly finding a low budget hooker shacked up at that Travel Lodge which is a closer walk.
Price remains the same and the room that is included is no where near the quality of when it was at the Doubletree....
Nor is the available food or service....
I think we are staying home this year with the kiddo...
