Providers with the same first name

I started doing body rubs in October. I joined ECCIE I believe in November. I have perused the reviews lately and now see some other provider with my first name and a little bit of similarity in our descriptions, locations and rates. The reviews were not flattering so I am concerned frequent customers of this site may confuse me for her. I am not reviewed and so far it has not caused any problems.

Welcome to the KC board, Diaana. Similar provider names are seemingly just a part of the business, I think, Diaana. That's why we see providers reappear/remarket themselves frequent over a period of time.

Other than a name change, there are several things I could recommend to distinguish yourself from the other Diaana's of the provider world...

• Get yourself verified and create a showcase with pictures. They say that pictures say a thousand words. See if they are right.
• You say that you advertised on backpage, but in your welcoming thread (http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=894818), several members posted that they couldn't find your BP ad. Give them a little help in directing them to you.
• Some of those guys responding to your welcome thread indicated they sent you a PM with no response. BE RESPONSIVE!

It's going to be difficult to be the only Diaana on this ECCIE board. What you want, though, is for us, when we see your ads, pictures and reviews, to say "Ohhhh, that Diaana! Yum..."

trust me, change ur name and research to make sure no1 has it...im a very well known traveling provider but sometimes ive had clients miss out on seeing me bc they thought it was another provider (as there is a amy^ love & theres a amyloveme &then theres me, the original amylove)...as they only saw the username and didnt bother to click on the ads bc they thought was sm1 else and not me...and if u look up the names they look nothing like me.also ive had issues with my reviews getting put on theirs and me having to message mods to fix it

DIaana, DiAana, diAana, DiaAna, diaaña, DiaaNa, etc. could be distinguishing, or your motto/slogan could be unique to your particular skill(s), but a set of photos and a link to a personal website is a better initial step. ... I take it you are referring to reviews for cute latina/Irish $75-$110 for two hours body rub provider. Can you point us to your ad/listing/website/reviews?

Respond to the guys on the site that PM you, and let them write some reviews.
And look for guys that write reviews, Lurkers are hard to Verify, because they won't write reviews.
I would like to know more about you.
There were a lot of guys stating they would write a review for a SPCL price point, and they never write reviews,
So always do a little homework or research about your client.

a.I'm not trying to be dense here, but I've read reviews here and what many of these customers give favorable reviews for I don't do. I am a body rub provider and I don't have the interest in being reviewed if it just leads to "hard-ache" (pardon the pun).
b.I was not sure how to respond to the PMs most of which were requests for personal dates and "get togethers" so I didn't reply to any PMs. Sorry if that made me appear less than friendly. This isn't the kind of impression I wanted to give.
c.Am I allowed to post my link here so It can be viewed publicly?
d.Special price point in exchange for a review? Does that mean a good review? How can I be sure the discount would guarantee the review will be done?

I would think as long as your price point and menu are specific to what you do and don't do one would not have unrealistic expectations thus writing a poor review. I've seen some reviews for legitimate massages that would refer me or someone else to see them if wanting a legitimate massage. I would contest though that there are probably sites specifically related to massage therapists and legitimate massages that are similar to this one and may be a better marketing strategy as the clientele is most likely just searching for just legitimate massages and therapists.

I almost exclusively search by something that is typically unique to the provider such as a phone number or an email address, so having a review is helpful in that regard.
