Fort Worth vs Dallas
I think there should be a seperate area for Fort Worth and Dallas. Just like Austin and San Antonio. Tarrant County vs Dallas County. I don't go to Dallas. I'm mre likely to go to Austin than Dallas. What are the chances of getting Fort Worth it's own area like other major cities?

Agreed, I hate getting interested in an ad, then finding out it's 50 miles in the wrong direction. Location is everything to those of us with limited time.

I would love it if the Fort Worth and Dallas sections could be split!

It would make it easier for us as providers as well. with there being so many more providers in Dallas i feel that sometimes we do get lost in some of the ads(weekend lineup). but that is just my $0.02

I guess my new idea isn't so new. I hate looking at a show case or thread or whatever and then realize that it would take an hour or 2 just to get there with traffic and another 1 or 2 to get back plus the 1 hour session. 3 to 5 hours for a session!!!
Wake up and listen to your customers. We want this.

I don't see the need for a separate section.. of course, I'm one of the more ambulatory hobby members, having seen a provider in both Dallas and Fort Worth the past 5 days.
there's really not enough Fort Worth providers to warrant its own section... and a few of them travel throughout the area... seems to me that after a short time reading posts, the "Fort Worth only" guys should be able to quickly identify those providers' names anyway

There are more providers in Fort Worth than there are in several states which have their own eccie forums. While Fort Worth doesn't boast nearly the number of providers that Dallas has, it's still not a small number, and it's most certainly a large enough number to merit its own forum, imho.
The foregoing said, this is beating a dead horse. They're not gonna split the forums. Not because it's not a good idea, but because it's a hassle to do it. I might feel the same way if I was running the board. I'd like to think I wouldn't feel that way, but I might....

Is there some arbitrary number that would justify a forum? If so, I'm curious as to what it is. Between Camp Bowie, McCart, the medical district and HEB, you have probably a dozen-and-a-half providers at those incall locations alone. You have IP and her new studio, UBT, and Pamper Clinic (or whatever it's called). You have several indies in southwest Fort Worth. You have the North Beach/820 area. You have a few more indies on the west side, and I have no idea how many in Arlington and the mid-cities. We have more in Fort Worth than Bryan-College Station and Waco combined.

A lot of people, in the face of demand (the economic kind, not the foot-stomping kind), look for reasons not to make this happen instead of ways to make it happen.
This particular question is easily addressed: Your ad goes in the area you are available in, whether incall or outcall, and the review goes in the area where the meeting took place.

That only works if names are included in the subject lines, and it makes no allowance for when a new provider, or one whose name is otherwise unfamiliar, is reviewed. The only way I find a review of a provider I'm unfamiliar with whose name doesn't appear in the subject line is by clicking on reviews and hoping I see "Fort Worth" or one of the mis-styled variants in the City field. That's a lot of clicking for infrequent gains. And you obviously haven't spent too much time browsing the Fort Worth Ads section for women who actually are available in Fort Worth.
You guys in Dallas, think of it like this: Imagine there was one forum, called "Texas." It's not apples-to-apples, but you'll have some idea of what it's like and how frustrating this board can be for those of us in Fort Worth. Why do we stay? Because it's the only game in town.
Unfortunately, eccienewbie is correct. A long time ago, Southwestern Bell ran an ad campaign: WMBTOPCITBWTNTALI (We May Be The Only Phone Company In Town, But We Try Not To Act Like It). ECCIE's slogan should be WATOSOGEIITAWDWAGTALI (We Are The Only Source Of Good Escort Information In Town And We Damn Well Are Going To Act Like It). Or, in short form: "Hey, Fort Worth! Fuck you!"

a while back, Pollstar, the web site that lists concerts coming to each US city, had separate sections for Dallas and Fort Worth... it got to be a drag clicking on each, to find all the shows coming to the area... Pollstar later merged them together, as before.. it works a lot better.
I think ECCIE works the same way, one section is easier to navigate, and helps the majority of hobbiests that way.
it's not feasible to accomodate the few Fort Worth-only guys... true, some states are much smaller than Fort Worth, alone.. but every state has 2 Senators for a reason

Yeah, 'cause the Constitution says so. But Fort Worth/
Tarrant County has more representatives in the House than several of those states combined.
Still, I doubt the eccie constitution is gonna include include a Fort Worth Amendment at any point in the near future. But let me be the first to sound the battle cry: prostitution without equal eccie forum representation is just wrong. Downright un-American, imho.
I'm just sayin'....

Yo Chung, Jessie Jackson and others want DC to gain statehood. thus it would have two senators. Jessie Jackson as one. Does this fit into this discussion? FT, Worth and Dallas have always acted like siblings that do not like each other

I totally agree. I notice the ISO section is FILLED with FW or Arlington requests, the same providers respond and likely pm. Im starting to wonder if FW guys even [I] read read the Ft Worth ad section?? Therefore I feel a separate section would be useless.
And theres the mid-cities too that are , well, in the middle. I like the metroplex as one. Just read the FW provider ad section we have already and you just might find a provider who provides in Ft Worth. It's just an idea..now who would 've thought?!

CT, you're in Arlington, right? So you're in the middle. Those of us in Fort Worth proper have a lot more driving time to get to and from an appointment in Dallas. If I lived and worked in the mid-cities, I wouldn't want them split, either, but it's a chore weeding through all those reviews of Dallas providers we'll never go see.
