LOTS of hot showers using LOTS and LOTS of soap. Felt much more relaxed afterwards.

I cancelled my deer hunting weekend :-( I truly love deer hunting and being outdoors in this type of weather but 3.5 hour drives each way turn into 6-8 hour drives.

So, I stayed at home, did some Christmas shopping, did some research on a project I want to start after the first of the year (build a handmade wooden canoe), watched some college football, marinaded a brisket (the secret is a can of Dr. Pepper). Sunday I cooked said brisket, a potato salad and pinto beans and entertained friends and played dominoes, cards and drank a few beers.

Ok so in a nutshell: Went to the hotel Friday bc of the electricity then back Saturday and I think I've been cooking every second since (with regular, momentary escapes to my online world of grown-up discussions lol!). Went outside to do some ghetto sleding Sat & Sun and soon discovered I need to get my 5yr old on a snowboard asap bc he was doing pretty damn good standing up on a rubbermaid lid! Lmao!

Put up the tree and decorations, made hot cocoa. Watched The Polar Express about half a dozen times and A Christmas Story 3-4x and called a few Christmas stores and searched CL looking for the famous leg lamp from that movie (Best Christmas Decoration Ever!!), but came up empty handed If anyone knows somewhere I can pick one up locally plz tell me! The shipping from online retailers for it is outrageous. "Fragil-eh" indeed! Lol!!!

I can't say it's been bad at all. Great memories!! But I sure am ready for school to start back up! Looking forward to Wednesday! Fingers crossed!!! )

Ok sorry that wasn't a nutshell at all.

P.S. Melanie, I think u need to advertised that u need help unfreezing you dildos this week!!
Ohh.. The Polar Express is my all time favorite!!! LOL,,, And THN I have only met one person who has the infamous leg lamp I will send him a p.m. and ask for suggestions! Glad you enjoyed some time with the kiddos as well. I always like for mine to get the full experience and have these memories when they get older as well. It's like, " hey mom.. remember that time when it was frozen for 3 days..lol "

I think I gained some extra pounds LOL ... time to get back to do some serious workout

I would like to report back that yes my toys are safe and sound..lol. I tried my purple one last night and still works like a champ!!
lol... that would be funny though.. oh that would have been a completly different thread
So glad they make them water proof though.. nothing a little warm water couldn't take care of.
BTW- that sounds like the best 3 days ever

I saw it, Its a great movie and I have to see the part 2 soon ... that scene of the boy's tongue attached to the flagpole made me laugh like crazy ... I saw it several times for my friend's kiddos love it ... every-time that scene came, I couldnt stop thinking about Melannie's tongue getting bonded to a frozen Dildo

Was stuck with a friend hanging out. Went on a public transit adventure [ride should have been an hour, instead it took four].

Thoughts of Melannie Star danced in my head. I paced the floor and looked out at the ice with dread.
How could I see her and not get myself dead? two days I spent on the highway from hell. only to find I was at the wrong damn hotel,,,,,
