Help! There's a porcipine down my pants.
Ok. Last night I was doing a little grooming for an upcoming date and I thought what the he'll I'll go bare. (The things guys do for you ladies ). Anyhow no one said it would itch like all hell. So I thought I would put some lotion on. Did you all know some lotions contain alcohol? No I do not enjoy the smell of napalm in the morning. So I now suffer from the scorched earth policy. Any suggestions on how to make the itch stop. Ok smart asses, let the comments begin.

I feel your pain. I uhh....groom regularly. I do it while bathing/showering so the spikes are relaxed for the shave cream. I just use Barbasol and razor. I trim with scissors first. I felt raw at when I first started, but it's gotten better. You may have just tugged too hard. I just used Benadryl or regular anti ich cream. Don't use anything too oily or you can get acne like bumps. That will cause the ladies to pull back.
Yes we do it for the ladies, but I also do it for my selfish pleasure.

Whenever I wax or shave, the first thing I put on that area is alcohol. Yes, it stings, but it also helps keep away ingrown hairs. The last thing you should put on it is lotion because of the oils. Listen to Vito, he has great advice.

Ditto on the Rubbing Alcohol.
Witch Hazel works well for me.
Next day wash with Hair Conditioner helps keeps the hair & skin soft down there.

Thanks dear. Should have know it wasn't a good idea when my testicles retreated to who knows where. Just thought it would be easier shaving, but no. Things still haven't dropped.

Thanks vitokc. I sure hope I don't break out. I know I don't feel sexy or like a porn star. Just itchy.

Last thing I do in the shower is shave. Wash 1st, rinse, soap up and shave, then soap again to make sure the pores are cleared out. I dont use shaving gel/cream. Was reading how it can dry out skin, makes it mushy, cancer causing chemicals, blah blah blah. I was just sick of havng a extra thing in my shower that rusted everywhere it touched.
I even buy the matrix 3 blades from Hy-Vee. And at $5 for 4 I can go thru (at same rate) as many as 1 years blades for the cost of a 8 pack of mach 3's. I change my blade every month and have separate blades for upper & lower jobs. (old lower becomes new upper since it's not used/abused as much.)

I shave EVERY day. I use this ointment called BikiniZone. It is by the ladies shaving stuff. They have it at Target, sometimes Walmart. You put it on after your shower.. waaaalaaaa not red bumps, no itching.
