Christmas Party Possibility...... Please respond

So far I am concerned that we have far less interest than prior years but this is what I is a possibility. response to this thread over the next 2 days will determine if I try to move forward with this.

Something different than previous years is a possibility this year if there is enough interest. For $40 a head I can arrange a Banquet Room in an upscale location. $40 will cover admission to the venue and a buffet style dinner in a room setup with white linens, quality settings and a wait staff. A full meal from Salad to Desert will be available with water, coffee, soft drinks or tea....

There will be a Bartender with all setups and it will be BYOB where you can drop your bottle and have all your drinks prepared..... I can arrange a couple of Kegs and some wine to be included as well......

There would be a dance floor as well as a DJ. In other words... A real Party....

In the past I have simply done the parties, which all went over very well, at a local Strip Club. People have asked for something like this for a long time.... It requires a financial guarantee that another member has offered to split with me and these plans are setup based on an estimate of 50-60 people.

This is a Public Venue with other similar events occurring and although some privacy is afforded there would be a dress code and some behavior criteria that would need to be met.

This would present an opportunity for people to relax, enjoy each others company, visit and interact unlike any previous get together we have done that I am aware of.

The purpose of this thread is to gather interest.....

Please participate in the Poll...... The last poll only had 25 participants. Without solid participation in this poll the effort that it takes as well as the financial commitment will not be undertaken. IF I decide to undertake it I will be looking for a couple... a guy and a gal... to step up to handle logistics and planning for me.....

The last three years parties have been in Strip Clubs and attendance has been as high as 80 and everyone has a blast.

I have been asked about different venues.

We have ladies that want to do other things in other places.

So this is an option being floated. Not set in stone by any means.

Also not meant to be "formal".....

MOST ladies attending the previous years parties have been very dressed up.
MANY of the guys in coats and some in ties.

some seem to want to dress up.

Once again.... THIS is just a possibility.

I would come. I like the noon start time. I have a little one and it is hard for me these days to break free at night and when I do its rare

This was posted at 12:15 this morning and at the moment there is not enough interest.

The slots are being held open for me until late Friday....

If there is NOT interest in this then it will be set aside and maybe tried at another time...

Few people understand the amount of work and coordination that has to be put into something like this.

This would be a general Christmas party open to all in the community that desired to attend under the normal parameters we have for it. No requirement to donate to any cause....
