Can employer/friends/family see your mugshots on the internet if you got arrested in the Dallas area? I am new here and worry about this as I have a job and a family as well. Thanks for sharing.

If you get arrested for shooting somebody I'm pretty sure your mug shot will be on the internet, in the newspaper and all the local TV news stations.

Yes. All they have to do is Google your name.

Collin County does it no matter what the offense. Also, there are about 1.6 million (okay, I exaggerate...hundreds of....) websites that will post your mugshot, and you can remove it from each and every one, after paying them about $200, each.

Just don't get arrested for ANYTHING, even 16 year old traffic tickets, and you will be fine .

It depends on what you get arrested for and in what jurisdiction. As a general rule of thumb, if you are arrested for a Class C Misdemeanor (traffic tickets, public intoxication, shoplifting, etc.) you probably won't be easily found. Anything after that is pretty easy to find if someone is looking.

If you are arrested and not convicted, contact a local criminal attorney and pay them to get your record expunged. That will erase most traces of your arrest (but not info posted online or published in the newspapers).

Of course, great care should be taken to NOT get arrested. I'm in Houston and they regularly post photos online after a prostitution sting bust. Last year a high level Halliburton employee was caught up in the sting and I believe lost his job because of it (so I hear, but not personally verified).

People get arrested in the hobby when they get careless...

Thank you all for the info. Some of these ads are probably from the police and I am sure they have their people signed up in here to do fake reviews for their own undercover female officers. May be I will ask the provider to send me 2 or 3 photos of her totally nude before I will meet up to be sure it is not some undercover operation. Do you think a female officer will send me some naked photos of herself?

Brother, you need to stick with downloading porn. Your idea about the photos needs to go back to wherever you found it. Bad idea on two fronts: the police can use fake photos to nab you, and no provider will do that for you.

It's not hard for LE to send naked photos of someone who looks like their undercover officer.

Seriously, it's not that hard to avoid arrest if you exercise a realistic amount of caution.
