Computer experts out there. What is the best brand of flashdrive (jumpdrive) out there
in terms of reliability, and longevity, There are so many brands out there.

It's pretty much all the same. If you are security cautious, AES256 encrypt the info when you store it.

Get whatever size you need and simply look for something on sale. You can get an 8GB flash for less than $10. If you're going to have large picture albums or backups, go with a portable hard drive. I picked up a 1TB portable for under $50 a couple weeks ago.
As Adeptus mentions, encryption. Almost all come with it built in. Use it. Client's expect it.

Last, flash drives are notorious for transmitting viruses. Always hard scan a flash with a decent anti program, before usage, and after the data is loaded, as the act of data transfer/copy sometimes triggers latent viruses. It’s simply a good habit. Last, once data is transferred, erase, etc. There's a more security driven concept on delete that I'll simply not go into as I'm only on 2nd cup.
