Default Full Tilt Poker Refund Process

I posted this in the national sandbox as well, but for my local poker playing brothers and sisters, I thought you might see it here too.

In case some of you missed it, there is currently a process to get a refund if you had money in a Full Tilt Poker account when they were shut down.

There is a looming deadline so please act fast.

www.fulltiltpokerclaims.com

Google it if you are skeptical, full details in many articles.

Forgot to add, but the deadline to have your filing complete is November 16th.

Never played Full Tilt, I was a Poker Stars fan. Haven't played since Black Friday, at least not online. I wouldn't have much to cash out if it was Poker Stars, I cashed regularly to keep myself disciplined. Only play between 10-50 dollar sit and go's and low stakes mini tourneys. Those were fun days, got addicted for awhile.

I had luckily pulled out most of my funds and kept it to the same, $10 SnG. When I was in Lubbock and no casino close my balance was much higher. Thank goodness I moved in 2009.

If they were shut down by the feds, question what is the legal implications of you claiming the money? Especially in a state were it is illegal for online gaming?

I don't have much there either. I can't wait to play on one of the state sponsored sites.

dallasfan, read the information if you want answers to that. There was nothing illegal about playing online poker. If you properly read the law, it was the funding of the accounts that was the issue.

Thanks, my notification went to an email I don't use anymore. This is the first I have heard of the process being done. I only had $15, luckily I got most of mine out before the dark day that took away all of our fun.

I'm one of the few who actually owe Full Tilt (or whoever) money.

Two or three days before black Friday I made a $200 deposit. The funds hit my Full Tilt account immediately (allowing me to play) but the payment processor never took the money from my bank account. I think this was the root of the Full Tilt problems. Needless to say, I won't be contacting them.

I miss playing online. I've tried some smaller sites but its just not the same. I guess it remains illegal because our govt knows what's best for us.
