It is s good thing that Obama has a hard time prohibiting drilling on private land or gas would be about 6 bucks a gallon.
Thanks to private enterprise and shale oil, we are producing more than ever.....from private lands.
Now if we just did not have to have that over priced government subsidized ethanol in the gas we could see even a bigger savings.
Government is a blockage that needs to be removed not a savior.

Their claim depends on who's President.

The really obvious thing is Tex, why hasn't the White House taken credit???? Because they know that they have no control over the price and don't want to take it up the ass when it turns around. Apparently you want to take it up the ass (not that I'm judging you or anything).

I don't blame the White House when the price increases.

By the same token, I don't give the White House credit when it decreases.

Yeah; despite Obama's policies....amazing how resilient capitalism is !

Can you imagine how much stronger our economy would be today if Obama was never elected and we didn't get his job killing policies ?

damn I hate job killing policies

We lost 4 million jobs in the last six months of the last administration.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics seasonally adjusted figures, the U.S. lost 779,000 jobs in January 2009, which was Bush’s last month in office. The U.S. lost approximately 3,526,000 jobs in Bush’s last six months.

Don't get so giddy; our eminence in the world global oil supply will be short lived, if Obama gets his way.... . locking up federal lands means the US will be the leader in global production only through 2020.....when the Middle East when production in the US will decline and Mideast will surpass us.

It is all in the public domain and useless if Obama (and wacko environmentalists) prohibit extraction/distribution
