Default Obamacare - A fix is being considered for the cancellations

The president did not lie. Any policy prior to 2010 can be continued. The ACA was signed in 2010. The policies that are being cancelled started after 2010. The law as written does not apply to these policies. The White House is considering options to fix the cancellation problem. You right wingers can calm down.

LOL, he didn't lie, but he is considering fixing something that he didn't lie about? Classic

LMAO! Obama still lied at least 10 more times after the law was passed when he reaffirmed the pledge that if you like your healthcare plan you can keep it. And he never applied any caveat that it only applies to plans that hadn't changed after the law's passage, when he repeated his lie at least 37 times since he became President. Keep drinking that Obama kool-aid, Fluffy!

Keep laughing, assholes.

Do you want Americans to move out of the third world or not?

Your partisanship blots out your patriotism.

You all should be considered traitors. (Even those of you who are just fucking racists.)

American exceptionalism is only equated to a third world country by those, well, those like you.

There is nothing patriotic about wanting a America to become just like all the other socialist countries.

Again, we are exceptional, because we are better, we are better because we are not like all the rest. Socialist countries are average, at best.

Please explain how our healthcare system, as it is/was is BETTER than average.

I don't think you can, within the citation of fact and truth.

Our healthcare system is a fucking trainwreck and has been for two decades, at least.

Keep jerking off, man. You're not going to find a way to show how our system of health care/health insurance puts Americans (ALL AMERICANS) in a better position than the system in Spain.

Just ranting and blathering isn't nearly enough, HOSPITAL MAN. You know the truth. You just don't want to tell it.

It's real easy to explain, using you as an example. Before Obamacare, you were in the high risk pool because you were at high risk of having increased healthcare costs, and as a result you had to pay your fair share.

Under Obamacare, you are now treated as though you are not as high a risk as a young, healthy person, and they now have to pay for your share of healthcare costs as well.

Nobody is arguing it's a great deal for you, and there is no doubt as to whether or not you will capitalize on it. But what you fail to see, the moral part of the equation. is that most people should, or would actually feel shame for having to, or taking from others without their consent. But you feel nothing morally wrong in doing so, simply because there is now a law.

Obviously we were raised from different ilk's with different beliefs, and will never agree.

At least that gets rid of one non-productive -ism.

They don't have to be. Just saying no because of the word socialism closes minds and enhances the problem.

Is it more moral to pay your own way and let the impoverished die, or to share the cost so that all may have as much health as possible?

I agree, in theory. Socialism is a wonderful read and if it were played out as theorized, would result in an almost utopian environment. In reality, the capable, eventually fail to participate, and choose to live off the production of others and therefore are unworthy of receiving the benefit.

The absolute greatest thing that has come out of Obamacare, is all the comedy.
