I've spent a lot of time in a C5 and we put a shit load of stuff in the back, including people lol
We made a couple of trips to the casinos in Miss. and were able to fit plenty of luggage in the hatch area. Plus there was plenty of room for the driver and passenger. The amount of room for driver and passenger actually surprised me.

I would love to go halves, but since I can't even get you to hook up for wings at the local Hooters, where would I find 'our' car when it's my turn to drive?

I saw my first C7 just the other day. It was red, probably torch red, on a flatbed being delivered to the new owner I suppose. It was quite nice.

My preference would be a slightly loved C6 Z06, personally, but my wife absolutely hates the C6. I doubt I'll be getting a Corvette of any variety for a few years though.

I see a 2014 Chevrolet SS in my very near future though. Not much of a change from the G8 GXP I just got rid of, but I'm looking forward to getting one. Much more family friendly...packing a 420hp LS3. I can work with that. Basic bolt ons and maybe a cam or a blower will do exactly what I'm looking for!

Simple bolt ons (long tubes, tune, drag radials, 3200 stall) put G8 GXP in the high 11's. That was one of the best cars ever put out with a Pontiac name plate.

I saw the new one a couple of days ago. It is bad-ass looking and I expect it to sell well.

I saw a white C7 the other day, it is a great looking car. Much better looking than the Ferrari Califiornia, and much better than in pictures, which is all I had seen one in. I saw it from a distance and was able to catch up at a stop light and get a good look. I couldn't tell what it was a first but it looked like something special/unique at a distance. I am impressed. I still think they copy a lot from Ferrari but this is far better looking than the California. It was so cool l alomst didn't notice the smoking hot blonde driving it, definately a MILF. If you see a white one around the Kirby/ San Felipe area make sure to take a second to check out the driver.

My weekend car is a truck. My sports car that I drive during the week is too small for dogs and Costco.

D_J, I saw one last weekend. It was silver. Super-fine car. I had a blue vette when I was a pup. I didn't like it as much as German cars, but then again, it was from the 80's.

There is a bright red one parked across the street from where I work. I am not a big fan of it. A little too angular for my tastes.

Amen. Practicality, gas mileage and luggage space are the least of my thoughts.

Its nice to see they finally gave the Vet's a pretty dramatic re-vamp, but now it almost looks a little too Camaroish to me.
