I don't think hooker shows are inspirations. See how hard it is to get any variation of "belle de jour" on hooker things and you will see how it has influenced people. Good show. Google the writer and you Belle fantasy flops. She is annoying in real life.

It was late primetime on showtime here in the states. its been compared to sex and the city as far as sexual humor and shock value.

I think 16 and pregnant is a whole other ball of wax. Mtv is just outrageous.

BFCjosh - yes I love my job and it is fun but it's a job for ADULTS. Glamorizing it to young girls was my only point.

Exactly. There is more to it than frolicking around like an idiot as the show portrays. You always know the delusional types. They write like the girl from Sex an the City or Belle. Then they end up crying to their mother two months later about it.
