I don't see how this has become anyone else's business but Trees, the women involved, and the powers that be at eccie. Unless these women specifically asked you to air their laundry in a public forum, you should have not have done so. These women are not gonna lose money by speaking up. What you say on here really doesn't effect things that much in that regard, unless there's a huge alert or something. That would probably do it. But otherwise, not really, and, hell, they would probably make money what with this huge outpouring of support. Really no real reason not to come forward, except for knowledge of this kind does kind of bring the other vultures out of hiding. But, I can totally understand just wanting to keep a low profile in general. It looks to me like if this did, indeed, happen, it was handled, and handled in an efficient, dignified way. The powers that be were alerted, and they took care of it. If I had been one of these alleged women, I would be upset if the whole business and been resolved and it was broadcast to everyone on the board. I'm just not understanding how and why this became so pertinent to the rest of the community.
I liked Trees. He sounded smart and interesting. I never met him, but I was pleasantly surprised at his decorum as a moderator. I even started to kind of take to the whole third person thing. I think Anne might have had a little board crush.
That's just the way Whispers is, always has been (read his history of stirring the pot), and probably always will be.. Things were nice, polite and smooth, so, of course, he had to check back in.
If what Trees did was so bad, the moderators and owners would have banned him and this thread ended. VERY, VERY few people give a shit about this thread and it is all very childish. All of you involved in this should meet and talk this out or shut the hell up. Why don't you all name handles involved, tell us all specifically what was done to whom, how that affects the rest of the community NOW, so the rest of us can be part of this little secret? Will you be banned if you do? If not put it out there. We are all adults here and can determine ourselves if Trees is a bad guy or not....well some of us are adults anyway.

The owners of this board can't ban him for something that may or may not have happened in the "real world." They can police the board but that's it. I am a little rusty on the rules, but I don't recall allegedly taking advantage of providers being something that would result in a ban.
By your own words, there are people who care about this thread. How can you prove it's so few? Is it fair to those "very few" people to have this removed from the board because you don't like it? Whispers did really kind of change my mind on the bringing this to light. It is important that men know that they can't do that and that women know they have a place to go if/when it does. My whole issue is just the way in which it was done. Clearly, these women, alleged women, did not want this to be such a public clusterfuck. So, why not have handled all of this from behind the scenes. First of all, figure out what happened, first. Then, sit down with these women, help them figure out what their options are and let THEM decide how and when they would like to come forward. Seems like that power was taken from them when all of this was splashed across the eccie board without their consent.

While there is much truth in your words the best way to kill a thread short of the OP requesting it is to simply ignore it no different than the way ThreAds are handled.

Apparently as pointless as this debate is there is a very sizable interested viewing audience. Whether we complain about the thread or get sucked into the the soap we are equally responsible for keeping it entertaining as you can see by the view count. Generally speaking the nicer the thread is the less interest (measured by fewer views) it seems to generate.
I don't recall ever seeing a thread closed by the mods simply because of it's ridiculousness.
Just ignore it and if everyone else stops being a willing audience it'll just become an empty room with one or two posters listening to their own voices echoing off walls.

Why do yo care what Trees did or didn't do? I don't care what you do. Why is this thread important to anyone who was not directly involved or affected? If it affects me, how?
Why take it off Sixxbach? Because noone has come out and said exactly what happened. I want specifics not "he did something bad" or "he took advantage of a provider". It doesnt do anyone any good to talk about nothing but comments like that without knowing what was done. I don't care to know the names of the providers but why won't anyone come out and say "he did this to a provider and forced her to do that" or whatever.
Since he is not a mod anymore, what's the point? Its like arguing over who's fault it was in a car wreck a month after it happened. It's to late, the damage is done. Put out what he did, how he did it to inform us all, especially new providers, so they don't get "taken advantage of" what ever that means, so "this" doesn't happen again, whatever "this is". That's what they do when there is an accident, the put up more stop signs or change the street markings or rules of the road to keep it from happening again. Unless this is done this whole thread is a waste of time.

The problem with this thread from the beginning is it is all about, I heard, I read, I talked to, I am investigating, I am fishing for information, trust me. We still have no idea what if anything was done or done wrong, nada, nothing. Until the Facts come out on both sides it is just rumors and hearsay. No.... There was quite a bit of ugliness in the last month or so and some might argue it was done without purpose.
I exchanged some emails with trees offering to meet. It doesn't seem like it is going to happen.
So far it seems that none of those harmed are willing to actually step up. I can understand why as can others. I'm not the only one that heard these things. It's posted here by others without any agenda.
This thread has become so extremely popular as a result of a handful of you that are looking for some hard core proof and even if someone DID step up I doubt any of you would accept it... Instead you would come upwith a theory as to why they are saying it... that they were put up to do it or paid to do it....
But As I told Trees in an email a couple of nights ago..... Other than responding to questions or statements I was not posting anymore on the actual accusations.... I brought it to light and created the forum for it to be discussed.
