Here's to a "happy healing." I am aware of the gall bladder pain and know how much better you will fee once the surgery is over. Take it easy for a few days, rest up, and get ready for good times once you are healed and ready to go.

I know someone that had Gall Bladder taken out about 10 years ago. It was done as outpatient surgery. Had four 1" incisions, and healing went rather quickly. They were off work for a week, but they were at a desk job. Might take a few more than 5 days before you get too physically active.

Good luck and best wishes Ms. Y. I had gall bladder pain in October 2009 and ended up in the emergency room. An over enthusiastic doctor was ready to cut me open on the spot, but I was "lucky" his boss didn't think that was necessary. It is the most godawful pain I ever experienced in my life and I know how bad you must have been feeling.
